Michael and Ashley have baby number two.
Ashley and Michael welcome Baby Dylan to the world. Dean is already enjoying his new baby brother. For Ashley, it’s touching to know that her children will always have each other.
Mia and her family go to a picnic. After Mia hears from her son that she works too much, she explains that she works a lot to provide for her children and give them the life she didn’t have growing up. Her mother was on drugs. So it was hard for her family. She’s hoping to talk to her mother on a deeper level when they have lunch together soon.
Ashley doesn’t get an invite from Candiace.
Candiace is preparing for the girls’ trip she’s hosting in Williamsburg. Her grandparents are from there and she thinks it’s a great place for everyone to relax. Chris tells Candiace she should call Ashley and check on her, as well as extend an invite. Candiace isn’t feeling his suggestions.
In a green screen interview, Candiace says she “forgot” to invite Ashley. But Gizelle invites her anyway and Ashley says she may come for a day. While Gizelle is visiting Ashley, she gives her an update on Mia. She will go out with Robyn to hang out with Mia.
Gizelle brings up the rumors about Eddie.
They also discuss Wendy. Gizelle feels as if Wendy has changed a lot since they first met her. She had a lot of work done and she likes to talk about it. When they met her, she was all about being a professor. So Gizelle wonders if Wendy is acting this way because of the cheating rumors about Eddie that have been reported on the blogs.
Ashley says that she doesn’t think Wendy would allow rumors to hurt her self-esteem. But Gizelle says she will talk to Wendy about this soon.
Wendy talks to Eddie about her new home essentials business. He tells her she hasn’t done enough planning and research. And Wendy is overwhelmed about moving forward.
Gizelle and Mia connect with Mia.
Mia meets with Robyn and Gizelle. She tells them she grew up in the foster care system after she was assaulted by her father when she tried to stop him from assaulting her stepmother. He later died of AIDS and heroin usage. Robyn says she understands because Juan’s parents passed away from AIDS and heroin addiction. Mia also tells the women that she’s working on her relationship with her mother. And she’s been clean for ten years.
Gizelle says that she really respects Mia and she’s happy to see how far Mia has come. And the real Mia is very different from what she’s been when the group gets together. So Gizelle wants to see more of Mia’s authentic self.
It’s the day of the girls’ trip. Candiace books a bus that has a stripper pole on it. Although Mia said she never danced on a pole before, the other ladies seem to think she is very experienced after she has a turn on the bus.
Candiace announced that Wendy, Karen, and Askale will be in the cottage. Candiace, Gizelle, Robyn, and Mia will be in the main house.
Karen and Gizelle go for round two.
After the ladies select their rooms, Gizelle tells Mia she’s taking hers. Everyone else is shocked by this but Mia says it’s cool. In a green screen interview, Karen says Gizelle and Robyn are already showing that Mia can’t trust them.
At dinner, Gizelle confronts Karen. She accuses Karen of lying on her family at the reunion and Karen says once again her issues with Gizelle started after Gizelle wished death on Ray. Gizelle says she never did this and she wants Ray to live as well as pay his bills. The episode ends on a cliffhanger before Karen can respond.
