The group is ready for Gizelle and Karen to move forward.
Karen and Gizelle continue their tense conversation at the table. Wendy steps in and says she doesn’t think Gizelle wished death on Ray with her comments. Regardless, Karen says that she and her children were offended by it. Candiace says that Gizelle and Karen have both done dirt to each other. She’s tired of their constant bickering. So she suggests they talk alone at some point and see if they can hash things out. In everyone’s opinion, it would be best for the whole group if they did. Things have just been too awkward.
But Gizelle is still demanding that Karen apologizes to her. And Karen wants an apology from Gizelle for the comments she made about Ray.
So Karen and Gizelle put their issues on pause for now. And the group walks around to check out where they will be staying. Askale, Wendy, and Karen go off to the cottage, while the others remain at the estate house.
The cottage is much smaller than the estate house. While looking at the cottage, Karen brings up the fact that she already apologized to Gizelle in the group chat. And Gizelle never responded.
Robyn and Gizelle discuss Wendy.
Ashley, Michael, and Dean take professional photos with Baby Dylan. Ashley is thinking about calling a night nurse to help with the baby’s jaundice. After they discuss the fact that Ashley says she will pop up in Williamsburg for one day even though Candiace didn’t invite her (Gizelle did), Michael makes it clear he still isn’t convinced Juan and Robyn will get married again.
After Gizelle and Robyn get settled in the main estate, they both talk about how much they think Wendy has changed since last year. The clothes she’s wearing are so odd to them. And they want to make sure she’s really “okay.” Robyn says Wendy used to “have substance.” And the new “Zen Wen” is “confused as h*ll.” So she’s “concerned.” Both women decide they will talk to Wendy about this. They don’t believe the cheating rumors but it’s possible the rumors have caused Wendy to overcompensate.
Wendy comes up the stairs to where they are after this is discussed.
Candiace is secure in her marriage.
The ladies go out for a bite to eat. Candiace talks about how it’s been having Chris as a manager. And Gizelle questions if Candiace will ever resent the fact that Chris rides her coattails since managing Candiace is now his job. Candiace says she trusts that she won’t have an issue with Chris regarding this.
Robyn tells the others she’s been struggling to get out of bed lately and Juan said that this is a turn-off. Gizelle tells Robyn that no man wants to marry an “unattractive” woman. In a green screen interview, Karen says that Gizelle kicks her friends when they’re down.
When it comes to the kids, Robyn admits one of her son’s grades are slipping. So she knows she needs to do more.
Askale says it sounds like Robyn is depressed. Robyn isn’t sure of this but she knows seeing a therapist is what she needs to do.
Wendy is confronted by Gizelle and Robyn.
It’s right after this that Gizelle brings up her conversation with Robyn. She tells Wendy it seems like she’s changed a lot. And Robyn says she’s become somewhat loose in comparison to how she was the previous year.
In a green screen interview, Candiace questions why Gizelle and Robyn are in Wendy’s business.
Wendy says she doesn’t have to be in a box despite her career and accomplishments. And it’s not that the surgery has changed her but she’s allowed to live as freely as she wants. Karen steps in and says Wendy should be able to express herself fully around the group. And she makes it clear that she’s okay too.
Karen calls out Gizelle, again.
At this point, Askale asks Gizelle what the status is with her and Jamal. Gizelle says she’ll answer that away from Karen. This is when Karen says that Gizelle has so much to say about everyone else, but can’t take it when people have questions about her life. Gizelle disagrees and it’s clear that Wendy feels some type of way about the questions she was asked by Gizelle and Robyn.
In a green screen interview, Wendy says she thought she was in a good place with Gizelle. She didn’t like that Gizelle insinuated she no longer has substance. And her left implant has more substance than Gizelle.
Karen later tells Wendy she didn’t deserve what happened with Gizelle and Robyn. And Karen doesn’t want Wendy to dim her light for Gizelle. Wendy breaks down in tears because she says she looked at Gizelle like an older sister. Karen consoles Wendy and tells her not to ever let Gizelle get under her skin again.
