Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris have been receiving backlash.
“Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” star Yandy Smith is used to being caught up in controversial situations. People had a lot to say when it was revealed that she didn’t legally marry Mendeecees Harris despite having a lavish wedding special on VH1. Plus, the drama with his baby mommas wasn’t her proudest moment. However, she’s been able to overcome all these situations. She’s also in a much better place with Mendeecees and they are focused on doing what’s best for their family.
So they packed it up and moved to Atlanta. As official cast members of “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta,” the couple has been showing fans of the show where they are in this thing called life now. And things haven’t been going smoothly with their foster daughter Infinity Gilyard.
After Infinity ended up in a relationship with someone who wanted to put the custody of Yandy and Mendeecees’ children in jeopardy, she was given an ultimatum. But she continued to contact the individual. So she was told she had to live with her grandmother.
Although Yandy said they were able to move past that as a family, it’s still taking time to rebuild the trust. So she and Mendeecees told Infinity she has to get her own apartment and a job to pay her bills. However, they would help her out the first two months.
The backlash from viewers was swift. So they have been coming for Yandy and Mendeecees on social media. Interestingly enough, Yandy did tell her supporters where she stands with Infinity now.
