Candiace Dillard-Bassett addressed those who want her to return to RHOP.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard-Bassett decided to walk away from the show when she became pregnant with her first child. At the time, she wasn’t on good terms with Gizelle Bryant. She fell out with Gizelle over the accusations made about Chris Bassett.
Gizelle and Candiace’s feud was so contentious that some fans wondered if they would ever be able to coexist on the show again in the future. Now that Monique Samuels is back in the mix, there have been more discussions on social media about how things would be if Candiace were to return to RHOP next season.
Well, Candiace addressed this on her podcast. She confirmed that she will be on the upcoming season of “The Traitors.” But she is not in talks to return to “Real Housewives of Potomac.”
“I do not have any plans to return to Potomac at this time. I say that as someone who believes firmly in never saying never. I’m not saying it will never happen. But what I’m saying, as you all are badgering and beating down my door to come back like yesterday, I’m not having those conversations. I am having conversations about other things and other projects and other ideas, other endeavors that I’m really excited about. One of them being Traitors. There’s just a lot to look forward to.”

She’ll be back when they want her back and the money is right. I just don’t feel like seeing her beef with Gizelle and Monique again.
I don’t think Bravo wants Candiace back on RHOP because of the colorism stuff. It became too toxic.
I like Candiace but I don’t want her back because then her storyline will be the fight with Monique again. She shouldn’t be asked back until she’s ready to move on from old sh-t. The best housewives know how to read a b-tch good and move on before the season ends. Candiace holds on to grudges too long and it hurts the show.
In other words she hasn’t been asked back but she is waiting for the offer.
