Mendeecees Harris and Yandy Smith’s wedding became controversial.
Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris’ love story played out on earlier seasons of “Love And Hip Hop New York.” It hasn’t been an easy journey for them either. One of their hardest obstacles was when Mendeecees was serving time in prison. And while he was away, Yandy clashed with his baby mommas. This, of course, was beginning to affect the children. Chaos even ensued at the reunion when Yandy’s cousin and male associate ran up on Samantha Wallace. Samantha still feels some type of way about the situation to this day.
The happier times for Mendeecees and Yandy include their wedding special. But it didn’t take long for controversy to overshadow it. Yandy would later reveal that she and Mendeecees weren’t legally married. Yandy said this was her decision because she wanted to protect herself from having to pay off Mendeecees’ restitution fees and possible child support.
On the upcoming episode of “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta,” Yandy and Mendeecees draw closer to their vow renewal ceremony. But before their special day happens, Mendeecees’ mother Judy Harris has some things to say about Yandy to Momma Dee. And Momma Dee doesn’t waste any time relaying the comments back to Yandy.
