Wendy talks to Eddie about the drama that went down in Williamsburg. For Wendy, she can’t believe it was Ashley who approached her about the cheating rumors because she feels Ashley has the most volatile marriage in the group. Eddie feels the whole situation is mean-spirited. At this point, he thinks Gizelle is a hurt person who wants to hurt other people. And Wendy thinks that Gizelle, Ashley, and Robyn will never experience the love that she has with Eddie.
Robyn isn’t surprised Gizelle is single again.
Gizelle and Robyn get ready to record another episode of their podcast, “Reasonably Shady.” The topic is infidelity in relationships. Gizelle says she read that it’s a 350 percent chance that a man will cheat again if he’s cheated before. And she wishes someone would have told her that two years ago. In a green screen interview, Gizelle says she was just joking. But she feels if a woman stays with a man long enough, he will cheat.
In a green screen interview, Robyn says she’s not surprised Gizelle and Jamal aren’t together. She never saw them together and they had way too many issues to make it work in the past.
Robyn says that she used to tell herself she wasn’t leaving Juan when he cheated on her. But that was when she was younger. And she wouldn’t tolerate that now.
Ashley receives all the blame.
Candiace tells Chris that Gizelle asked her if she believes Chris is riding her coattails. This annoys Chris and he says that he’s just trying to support her the way that Candiace has supported him. In a green screen interview, Candiace says that Gizelle is just projecting because of her past issues in relationships.
They then discuss what went down with Wendy. Candiace places all the blame on Ashley. And she believes that Ashley, who she calls “Forehead”, was just being messy.
Robyn tells her son Carter that she is going to talk to a life coach. She doesn’t think she needs therapy but coaching instead.
Mia’s mother opens up about the past.
Mia meets her mother for lunch. She tells Mia that Mia’s father introduced her to drugs. When Mia was young, she tried to cook oatmeal and it fell off the stove and left burns all over her body. So she had to go to the hospital. But her dad was there and Mia’s mother said that her father was with another woman in the basement. Things got so bad that Mia’s mother tried to commit suicide.
Since her mother has been through a lot, Mia knows that she has to handle her mother with care as they attempt to repair their relationship.
Gizelle is selective with her invitations.
Karen tries on dresses for her vow renewal. Wendy and Mia meet her at the venue. Mia tells them that Gizelle invited her out for drinks to celebrate Robyn’s birthday. But she noticed that Wendy and Karen weren’t invited. In a green screen interview, Gizelle says she didn’t invite them because she only wanted the people who wished Robyn a happy birthday there. They didn’t so they weren’t invited.
As for Karen, she says her issues with Gizelle would be resolved if she would just apologize for wishing death on Ray.
Chris and Candiace clash.
Candiace isn’t happy that Chris has cooking classes during the day she is filming one of the scenes for her music video for her song “Drive Back.” She feels that he misses out on a lot of important moments in her music career. But Chris says she wouldn’t be happy if he stopped making his own money and completely relied on her. He also tells her that he plans on playing golf later and Candiace complains that all he does lately is play golf.
The ladies who were invited to Robyn’s birthday shindig meet up at a restaurant. Robyn says that although she hashed things out with Wendy, it still feels like things weren’t actually resolved between them. She believes Wendy was condescending with her apology. And clearly, they didn’t have a real friendship.
Candiace goes off on Ashley.
Gizelle asks Ashley if she added “hot sauce” during her conversation with Wendy. She says she didn’t. In a green screen interview, Candiace calls Ashley a “milkmaid.” And she says Ashley intended to cause chaos. She ends up calling Ashley a h*e while they are all at the table. When Ashley is puzzled by Candiace’s choice of words, Candiace tells her she brought her “wide body a*s” to Williamsburg and caused drama, then left with her breast milk. Everyone looks on in shock and the episode ends with a “To Be Continued…”
