On the season finale of “Raising Kanan,” the fall out begins after Kanan shoots Howard. Kanan is under the impression that Howard is dead, and he has no idea that a homeless man saw it all go down. Police find this man and begin their investigation.
Raq’s plan to set up Unique moves forward since Kanan wore Unique’s jacket to shoot Howard. Juliana’s bodega security camera catches Kanan running from the scene with the jacket on, so she’s able to say that it was Unique who most likely pulled the trigger.
Marvin was supposed to be the one to drive Kanan out of town for safety, however, he is arrested after Toni accuses him of selling drugs. But Marvin isn’t worried because he believes Toni has no proof of anything. Unique is also arrested after Marvin successfully puts the bloody jacket back in his closet.
Although Raq thinks her plan worked out with no major mishaps, she has no idea that Howard actually didn’t die. And he could reveal who actually shot him.
