Drama continues.
The episode opens up with the continuance of Mia and Candiace’s blowup. Karen, Ashley, and Mia try to alert Candiace that her jab about Mia’s mother is going too far. Mia then says that her mother is a recovering drug addict. But Candiace says she doesn’t care. She breaks down in tears and states that Mia doesn’t get to say anything to her with no response. Candiace wants Mia out of the house. And Mia feels Candiace needs therapy.
While talking to Karen, Candiace says she really didn’t know anything about Mia’s mother. But since Mia is throwing things like she’s still in the strip club, Mia should go.
Gordon and Mia think it’s time for them to go. And Eddie gives Chris a rundown about what just went down. When Chris goes to see about Candiace, he convinces her to walk outside with him to cool off.
Both women are emotional.
Meanwhile, Karen and Wendy try to encourage Mia. They don’t want her to ever be ashamed about who she is and where she came from. Mia doesn’t want Candiace’s words to ruin her mother’s sobriety. Ashley says Candiace always goes below the belt.
Outside, Candiace screams that Mia has been messy since she came into the group. She’s not going to let Mia say whatever she wants. But Chris says Candiace is being childish.
Askale feels Mia hurt Candiace when she said the music video was low budget. But Mia understands because she’s had to start at the bottom in business, too. Now she makes over $400,000. Askale asks if Mia brings up business because of her humble beginnings. Mia says that she brings it up because she’s proud and worked hard. But Askale wonders if they can continue the trip without talking about business.
Outside, Chris says that Mia may not be the only insecure one. And Candiace is being insecure to let the low-budget comment bother her. The more she speaks on it, the more bothered she looks.
He thinks Candiace should just drop it and agree with Mia to not come for each other anymore. But Candiace is too angry to agree on that at the moment.
After everyone calms down, Gizelle and Robyn arrive.
Tempers calm, and Mia and Gordon decide to stay. Chris is still about peace and congratulates Ashley on baby number two. He sighs when she tells him Candiace called her “wide.” And he says, “She uses a lot of adjectives.” Either way, Ashley appreciates how nice Chris is to her regardless of everything.
Robyn and Gizelle arrive at the house. In a green screen interview, Robyn says Ashley convinced her to come. Apparently, Ashley gave them a recap about the salad situation. They aren’t happy about the room they will be sleeping in.
Gizelle and Robyn talk to Candiace about what happened. They tell her she was wrong because they don’t come for mothers. Candiace says in a green screen interview she wouldn’t have said anything about Mia’s mother if she knew the situation. She’s shocked when she learns Mia cried.
Wendy isn’t exactly happy to see Robyn and Gizelle there. But she tries to be cordial. Gizelle complains about their room not having a bedroom. She tells them to just use the bathrooms downstairs.
Ashley breaks the tension with shots. But Gizelle is already over the idea of having to go down the stairs with a boot on for her broken toe. And Robyn is on her period. So she doesn’t even want to be around anyone.
Dinner goes left.
The group heads to dinner. On the way there, Karen and Gizelle actually sit next to each other and share laughs over Gordan’s antics with his tongue and tea bagging. Ashley chimes in as well.
While at dinner, they toast to forgiveness. Ashley asks Chris has how he feels about Candiace’s blowup with Mia. He says that the women are going to do what they do. But he’s going to be good with Gordon regardless. Chris then says that he hopes to be cool with Ashley and Michael at some point. This is when Ashley brings up the times Candiace has dragged Michael. Candiace says Michael called Chris “white tr*sh.”
This is when Ashley brings up the time Candiace tweeted that Michael was an “overseer.” Candiace then insinuates that Ashley is a slave. Ashley goes off and brings up the altercation from last year. She says Candiace is the common denominator. But she always plays the victim. Candiace gets angry and says it was Ashley who escalated that by getting involved legally. And she’s a “f*cked up individual.” Chris then tries to take Candiace outside but she refuses to leave and pulls away from him. The other patrons notice the drama.
Candiace goes on to call Ashley a “vindictive b*tch.” And Gizelle tells her Ashley had nothing to do with last season’s situation.
At this point, Chris is tired.
Chris gets irritated and walks out of the restaurant. Dre follows him. Chris says he’s so over it and everyone needs to move on from the past.
Candiace eventually leaves to talk to Chris. After her departure, Gizelle and Robyn say Candiace hasn’t learned anything from the altercation. And it’s disappointing.
As for Chris, he begs Candiace to just learn to be the bigger person.
