Kenya Moore thinks NeNe Leakes should return to RHOA.
Some “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans don’t know how things will go on the upcoming season after the cast changes. Before Porsha Williams announced her departure, they figured her engagement would be a focal point. And Kenya Moore would be there to apply pressure to Porsha about how things went down.
During a recent interview with the Jasmine Brand, Kenya was asked if she was surprised that Porsha decided to leave RHOA.
Kenya explained why she wasn’t.
“Listen, clearly there was some controversy involved in how she met her now fiancé and all of those things. And I think that with her having her own spinoff, it’s kind of like Kim Zolciak’s spinoff. Kim Zolciak can be a villain when she’s on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ but on her show, she can be a hero. And I think that those things were a factor for her and the type of show that we do versus the type of show she can do on her own.”
She continued, “I think the best decision for her is the one that she made. And I’m happy for her. I hope that she can work it out.”
Kenya was also asked if she believes NeNe Leakes should return to RHOA. She said, “You know what, NeNe is I believe is an asset to Housewives. As much as I’ve fought with her and the issues she’s had with me and her personhood…I still believe as a producer head as a fan of the show, that there is a place for her on Housewives.”
