NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore have a long history of issues.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore has had an ongoing feud with NeNe Leakes. In fact, they clashed a lot during NeNe’s final season on the show. Kenya was upset that NeNe questioned if she was pregnant with a buffalo. To Kenya, NeNe was taking a shot at her daughter, Brooklyn Daly. So when NeNe wanted to make amends so the group could move forward, Kenya didn’t feel NeNe was being genuine. When the group got together, there would be blowups between Kenya and NeNe. At the time, Kenya didn’t think it was possible that she could ever be back in a good place with NeNe. And NeNe was over trying to be cordial with Kenya because she wasn’t receptive.
During one heated scene, NeNe said she ought to spit on Kenya. She made a spitting gesture, and Kenya said that NeNe violated her by doing this. They also had some harsh words for each other during the reunion.
So it seemed as if there wasn’t any chance of NeNe and Kenya ever being on friendly terms.
Interestingly enough, Kenya didn’t allow her bad blood with NeNe to keep her from being there to show support after Gregg Leakes passed away from colon cancer. And she recently opened up about the possibility of being friends with NeNe in the future.
