Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant have a tearful moment.

There were a lot of heated moments on part one of the “Real Housewives of Potomac” reunion. At the conclusion of the episode, Candiace Dillard and Mia Thornton clashed yet, again. Mia is still upset that Candiace dragged her mother into their feud. But Candiace doesn’t feel she went too far using “your mother” as a response. And while their drama will continue on part two, a positive moment does happen in the same episode. It takes place when Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger talk about how they were able to move forward after the shaky beginning of season 6.

Andy Cohen starts the segment off by saying he enjoyed seeing the two women have some fun moments this season. He then asks Gizelle to say something nice about Karen.

In response, Gizelle says, “We were in the dog house with each other. But you’re woman enough to say, ‘You know what? I’m coming to this woman’s house. I gotta bring her something.” She continues, “That was respectable. And then when you saw my kids, you jumped up to hug them. That shows the level of deep…I’ma cry.”

Gizelle then becomes emotional. “That shows the level of deepness of the relationship that we have. You’ve seen my kids grow up. And you would never disrespect them. So I appreciate that.” Karen chokes up, too. “Don’t make me cry.”

Andy and the others are in shock. So Andy tells Gizelle, “I just want to say I’ve never seen you really that emotional, ever. Why is that making you emotional?”

She answers, “Because Karen could have sat there and not moved and just waved to the kids. She could have done whatever. But she didn’t and that meant everything to me.”
