Karen Huger has become a breakout star on RHOP.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” has seen a surge in success on Bravo in the last couple of years. The biggest controversy yet revolving around the cast was the altercation between Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels. The ladies were close friends. However, Monique began to question the friendship after Candiace befriended Charrisse Jackson-Jordan. Monique believed Charrisse had been spreading around rumors. And the rumor in question accused Monique of having an affair. Allegedly the other man was her personal trainer. It also alleged that her youngest son Chase Samuels isn’t Chris Samuels’ biological son. Eventually, the rumor was repeated by Gizelle Bryant. So Monique was upset the lies were spread.
The controversial season brought in a huge boost in ratings. For the first time ever, the show topped “Real Housewives of Atlanta” in viewership.
To no surprise, the drama had a lot of folks debating on social media. But Monique decided not to return for season 6. However, the drama hasn’t waned.
In fact, the show’s popularity continues to increase. Fan favorites have even emerged. Karen Huger happens to be one of them, too. And a new report claimed that Karen is the first RHOP star to land her own spinoff show. Interestingly enough, this has caused some fans to suspect that Karen may be departing RHOP.
Well, Karen may have responded to the suspicions.
