Fraud charges have been keeping Brittish Williams busy.
There has been a lot of rumors about the upcoming season of “Basketball Wives.” According to reports, Malaysia Pargo isn’t on good terms with the majority of the cast. And Brittish Williams happens to be one of the people she’s reportedly at odds with. Interestingly enough, Brittish has even more drama on her plate. That would be multiple counts of fraud. And prosecutors have accused Brittish of using false social security numbers to secure funds from financial institutions.
She’s also been accused of depositing bad checks into accounts. It’s alleged she withdrew the money before banks realized the checks were fraudulent. Prosecutors also accused Brittish of falsely claiming dependents on her 2017-2019 tax returns. This is not the first time Brittish has been hit with serious accusations.
As a result of the charges, Brittish was arrested in October 2021.
Brittish has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Interestingly enough, another “Basketball Wives” cast member could have played a role in Brittish’ legal woes.
