Ty Young confirmed breakup with Mimi Faust.
Mimi Faust was happy to find love with Ty Young. And a lot of “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta”‘ fans were happy for her as well considering they watched her deal with a lot of drama with her ex Stevie J. Although Mimi appreciated her romance with Ty, she did struggle at times because of her past. So when Ty proposed to her the first time, she said yes. However, the engagement didn’t last long because Mimi was too afraid to actually marry anyone. She had too many trust issues as a result of her time with Stevie.
After some time in therapy, Mimi was able to confront all of her issues. Stevie even apologized publicly for all he’s put Mimi through on “VH1 Family Reunion.”
And Mimi and Ty got back together and got engaged again.
Interestingly enough, Ty and Mimi recently became a hot topic on social media after a video of Ty being out in public with another woman went viral. LHHATL fans accused her of cheating on Mimi. In response to this, Ty hopped on Instagram and said that she’s actually single.
Mimi Faust responded after Ty Young was seen with another woman.
She wrote, “Clearly it was someone recording being sneaky to create mess, nobody looking at the camera or seen someone recording. And if it was something, I’m single so it still wouldn’t be cheating ?.”
As for Mimi, she addressed the situation on Instagram as well. She posted a meme that reads, “Breathe and remember who the f*ck you are.”
In the caption, she wrote, “Enough said…?”
And she said more in another comment, “It is imperative that when you say you are moving forward with your plans, life or goals…that those words are followed by action and led by passion. My friends, we all have grown in the last 2-3 years. New friends and old; they remain people that we learn from and share our life stories with.” She continued, “In saying this, I want to make sure that I wish Ty the best. Remember, we all grow and that’s ok. It’s also ok to grow apart. Just respect each other in the process.”

Well Mimi’s response was classy.
So basically her hesitance to marry Ty wasn’t just because of Stevie. Well maybe now they can stop this back and forth because it’s a waste of time.

Face facts, Stevie messed Mimi up mentally & emotionally and all he can say is ‘I’m sorry’. It’s not that simple. I bet Mimi kicked her own behind several times because of Stevie but somehow she made excuses to make him seem okay or tomorrow is going to be better(been there).
It’s very unfortunate that a relationship like that can jack you up where you can’t move on in peace.
Stevie tried to control Mimi & Ty’s relationship too. Ty knew that Mimi wasn’t over Stevie. That sister tried hard but she felt like she was competing off court.
Mimi gotta deal with her demons before getting into another relationship.
