Kimmi speaks to Destiny about her tension with Melody.
This week’s “Love and Marriage: Huntsville” begins with Kimmi stopping by Destiny’s store. Kimmi’s hopeful Destiny and Melody can reconcile once more and she wants to learn what happened with their latest bout of tension.
Destiny explains to Kimmi her side of the conversation she had with Melody a few episodes ago. She also tells Kimmi that Melody told her not to be friends with LaTisha or Martell. The drama in the group “is draining,” according to Kimmi and she’s hopeful this changes. Lastly, Kimmi wants to bring all the girls together. Destiny’s open to the idea.
Meanwhile, Marsau stops by Maurice’s office for some advice. Martell asked Marsau about rejoining Scholt and he’s unsure, especially, since LaTisha isn’t interested. LaTisha is the majority shareholder and she bought out Martell’s shares. Maurice likes his brother’s idea of letting Martell manage building Destiny’s salon. However, he’s weary that LaTisha isn’t going to come around in light of past tensions between all of them. They both realize that Martell buying in isn’t an option as of now.
Martell isn’t interested in obtaining his homebuilder’s license.
Later on, Melody comes in for a session with her therapist Dominique. Melody’s been seeing her since her divorce. During this session, she reveals frustration with Kimmi’s latest invitation as she invited LaTisha and Destiny, women she refers to as “Energy Vampires.” Dominique cautions Melody about practicing self-control regarding the energy and attention she’s going to give to these people.
The next day, Martell meets with his business partner Fred. They’re out on a job site. Martell’s closing on a site to potentially build homes which makes Fred happy. But this leads to Fred’s criticism of Martell for not getting his Builder’s license. However, Martell feels there isn’t a need for him to get it.
In his interview, Martell speaks about buying back into Scholt and doesn’t feel he has to go out and do his own thing.
LaTisha confronts Melody at Kimmi’s dinner.
It’s the night of Kimmi’s “Galentine’s” dinner with all of the ladies. She’s hopeful Melody will be able to bury the hatchet with Destiny and LaTisha. Tiffany arrives first to help set up and is also hopeful the ladies can let go of their beef.
LaTisha arrives next, followed by Melody and Stormi. LaTisha and Melody don’t acknowledge one another which immediately puts Melody on high alert. Lastly, Destiny arrives last and hugs Kimmi and LaTisha.
As Kimmi gets the dinner started, their eyes cut across the table. Kimmi has the ladies write positive things and misconceptions about themselves. After this exercise, things immediately turn tense between LaTisha and Melody. LaTisha brings up to Melody how she heard Melody had Keke say something about Marsau. Tensions rise when Melody calls Keke in front of everyone to find out the truth.
Keke says Stormi brought up LaTisha’s name but Kimmi reminds Keke she should’ve been saying these things to LaTisha. When she hangs up, Melody says her name came up because of the photo Marsau posted on social media. LaTisha then brings up that she believes Melody and Keke weren’t friends. However, Melody retorts that she knew Keke longer than LaTisha.
Of course, the conversations devolve into a back and forth between the two former friends.
Destiny and Stormi clash.
Next, Destiny brings up her conversation with Melody amidst inviting the opp’s cousin to her event. This also leads to a shouting match between Destiny and Melody. To make things worse, LaTisha steps in. Everyone has to step between the two and quell the back and forth.
When things calm down, Stormi and Destiny have a back and forth when Stormi says Melody doesn’t say any bad things about Destiny and LaTisha to her. The two of them keep talking back and forth and things escalate. But they are kept from coming to blows.

Tisha looked and sounded real stupid. Mel needs to tell everyone about her texted with Destiny Tisha said Mel didn’t know how to be a friend because of Destiny’s lies. So Tisha thought she had a friend in Destiny. Mel has been a friend to both of them. Mel taking Tisha to meet other women in business to mogul. Tisha trying to be hard like she could bust a grape. Girl stop following people. Tell your husband to stop doing things so people won’t talk about him. They talked about Jesus. Stop winning.
Why does Mel feel the need to keep being up that Marsau is cheating? You clearly not saying it because you are concerned about a friend because you already said she your enemy. So it comes off like you want to see her hurt like you were. If Marsau is cheating, then nobody can make Tisha leave him until she is ready to do so. Just like nobody could make Mel leave Martell until she was ready to do so.
Question:WHY CAN’T THESE WOMEN SIMPLY GET ALONG?
Oh I know I know…because they can’t mind their own business. Such as worrying about a husband that’s not theirs.
Martell cheated and got caught up so all of the men are suspect.
Marsau posted the photo on purpose to get the bullswankey started among ALL of them. He wasn’t going to take it on the chin by himself. But this is the thing with Marsau, he has a knack for making LaTisha think the opposite of something. Make her question her own thoughts so she backs down off of her concerns.
You see, she doesn’t know how to investigate. I don’t mean checking his phone nor emails…too obvious. She could simply have pillow talk or convos over dinner but don’t be so to the point just be casual about it.
I thought the entire party was hilarious! Stormi with her ‘country grammar’ was the highlight of the evening for me. Now when they go to screaming now that was beyond silly. LaTisha came dressed to fight. I did like her outfit though. As a matter of fact I liked everyone’s attire.
My good sis Kimmi tried and I hope she doesn’t try it again. Let all of them figure out their own sh-t.
Tisha has no reason to even engage Mel. Let her sit in her own angry pool. I need Mel to admit its her that’s sleeping with Marseau cause that’s the only reason she knows he’s cheating. If it ain’t her, STFU! Tisha don’t have to believe your gossip and slander of her husband. I won’t play with my marriage on TV.
ALL of them is to old for this foolishness. The reasons they falling out for is so dumb that they just need to hug it out and make up.
Melody reminds me of Shaunie O’Neal. God forbid someone stands up to Melody. They will be fired.
