Ashley and Winter finally see eye to eye.
Winter’s anger is rising and Ashley feels exhausted as the brunch continues to begin the latest episode. However, Winter does feel there’s an understanding growing between all of Monique’s friends, and Ashley’s open to it also.
Next, Erana further explains her infidelity comments at Monique’s dinner. She explains that she and Jamie cheated on each other. Ashley then says she and Quick experienced infidelity on both sides before they got married.
In fact, both of them aren’t going to seek out if their partners are currently cheating. Winter did raise her eyebrows to this.
Then end the Bruch with a toast.
Ashley visits Quick’s manager.
Meanwhile, Quick’s at his DTLR office when Ashley stops in to see his manager Shawn. Ashley wants Shawn to clear out some of his schedule because she feels he working too much again. Shawn agrees. Ashley understands the importance of the CIAA tournament coming to Baltimore but she still doesn’t want him over-working, especially since he has had car accidents. Quick walks in and feels ambushed.
Ashley also convinces Shawn and Quick to get them a hotel in Baltimore for the week. She’s worried Quick will have another accident from overworking.
As this happens, Monique and Chris are still in Tanzania with their family. They’re having fun taking safaris and going to the beach.
Later on, Jamie and Eana’s son Jayson helps his grandmother set up her Apple Watch when Erana walks in. Jayson’s really working on getting into a program to help him gain independence with his disability. He wants to get into the program and learn computer programming. However, Jamie wants to push Jason into DJ school.
So, Erana wants Jayson to tell Jamie this during dinner.
Erana and Winter meet up.
Later on, Erana and Winter meet up for drinks in an effort to get to know one another. Of course, Ashley came up during their conversation and Ashley says Ashley wasn’t sensitive to her. However, Erana says Ashley is just direct. This leads to Winter asking Erana to explain her infidelity. Erana says she never stepped out and slept with anyone. She just flirted with men on social media.
She did this because he wasn’t at home. However, Jamie never admitted to cheating. Interestingly enough, Erana feels guilty about their lack of romance and intimacy. However, she feels Jamie should do more to add the spark into their lives.
Next, Erana is cooking for the family dinner. The kids arrive along with Jamie. When the family gets down to eat, Erana encourages Jayson to talk about the program and school he’s looking to get into. He doesn’t want to go to DJ school. However, Jamie wants him to pursue Deejaying. Brittney then says she hasn’t found herself yet because she spent her time trying to please her parents.
Overall, this isn’t news Jamie wants to hear.
Jamie gets really uncomfortable talking about his s*x life.
Lastly, Ashley and Quick invite out Erana and Jamie for a night out. Jamie tells Quick about Jayson not wanting to go to DJ school and Quick accepts it. Quick tells Jamie to not force it because if the passion isn’t there, they won’t want to do it. Next, Erana mentions how Winter knows a s*x therapist and wants to have a consultation.
This catches Jamie off guard and says they don’t need it. In fact, he side-eyes the whole conversation. When she then brings up the conversation about infidelity she had with Winter, he turns red. He feels Erana shouldn’t be talking about this with anyone.
After their vacation, Chris and Monique are at home and Monique got the offer for the morning show at WPGC. They sent over the contract while they’re on the way home.
They’re recapping the trip and Monique’s still looking for the emotional depth she needs from Chris. This causes more frustration for Monique. This leads to Monique and Chris having another tense conversation. When Chris tries to change the subject, filming of the scene ends sooner than expected. A producer pulls him aside to talk.
