Marlo Hampton takes issue with Kandi Burruss’ recent attempt at philanthropy.
Kandi Burruss is not a fan of Marlo Hampton these days. On the current season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Marlo seemingly keeps coming for Kandi. And Kandi doesn’t feel she’s done anything to warrant the target placed on her back. However, Marlo told former executive producer Carlos King that she thinks Kandi has been coasting on the show. So she wants to apply the pressure. In her opinion, she needs to make Kandi earn her big check.
On the recent episode, Marlo asked the ladies to donate clothing to her foundation for young girls in the foster care system.
Kandi was in the process of donating gently used clothing, and Marlo took issue with this. She said that she hated receiving hand-me-downs while she was in the foster care system. So she only wants new clothes donated. And she felt like Kandi was out of line to not donate new clothes without being told to.
Well, Kandi addressed this on her YouTube channel.

She said, “So why Marlo tryna make it a big deal because I was gonna give her gently used clothing for her charity? Can I just say nobody knew the rules for her charity? If she had just told me ahead of time…if it was just known, she only gives them new clothes, I would’ve never even asked her. I would have just said, ‘Okay, I’ll just give her new clothes or a financial donation.’ It wouldn’t even be a question.”
Kandi continued, “It’s just kind of was like weird to me that she was just bringing it up to the group like, ‘Oh, how dare she!’ Lady! I could have just been not giving you anything. I don’t understand why this is an issue. You just tell me what you need and you get that. It’s a whole plot to try to make me look crazy. That’s what it is.”
Jealousy is at play, in Kandi’s opinion, “It is jealousy, it is hateration.”
Kandi also thinks the whole situation is ironic and reeks of hypocrisy, “Everyday people can wear her used clothes but we can’t give her used clothes for her foundation. We got to pay her to wear her used clothes, ain’t that about a b*tch? We can’t give her our used clothes, our gently used clothes we can’t give her, we gotta pay to wear her used clothes. Do y’all not understand the irony in this?”

Marlo is just finding things to be fake mad at because she’s jealous of Kandi and needs someone to bully because she can’t keep a peach any other way. If Porsha was still there, that would be her target instead.
I heard nothin but facts from Kandi. It really is jealousy because Kandi stay in her bag & they don’t have the ambition or drive that she does. So instead of bossin up, they’re actin like a bunch of Bitter Bettys, party of two. And they could take the time, breath & energy they’re usin to hate on Kandi & use to get their own coin.
Not feeling Marlo this season.
Marlo is NeNe’s mouthpiece now. Totally disgusting to shade someone like that who helped you get your own show and then your dumb ass decided not to do it at the last minute. Marlo is loyal to no one! Also, Kandi does plenty for the black community, so stfu Marlo and ask yourself what have YOU done? I’ll wait…
I always give used things for charity.Is Marlo going to keep buying new clothes for these girls I don’t think she knows what charity and giving means.
Kandi can always find another charity that will gladly accept what she’s offering. I have no problem with Marlo not wanting it for hers.
