Kenya makes a major business move.
Marlo brings her nephews over to Sanya and Aaron’s house. Aaron is going to show them how to change a car tire and change the oil. Marlo is thankful that Aaron took the time to do this. And she understands how important it is for them to have male role models.
Sometime later, Marlo’s mom Emma comes to town. They talk about the last blowup they had. Marlo kicked her mom out of the house she bought for her. And she alleges that her mother had a drug problem back then.
Sanya, Drew, and Kandi come out to CVS to support Kenya’s haircare line launching there. People will now be able to buy her products from CVS.
Tyrone strikes out with Sheree.
It’s the day before Sheree’s fashion show for She By Sheree. She’s really surprised when Tyrone walks into the venue. They argue instantly. Sheree wants an apology for Tyrone standing her up in Philadelphia. However, he doesn’t feel he owes her an apology. He alleges that he would have been sent back to prison if he filmed with Sheree on this day. However, Apollo says this isn’t true in a green screen interview.
Fed up with the lack of an apology, Sheree tells Tyrone to leave.
Emma and Marlo attempt to hash things out.
Before Kandi can meet Marlo’s mom Emma, Emma and Marlo have another tough conversation. Marlo says Emma’s boyfriend can’t come around her. And she always felt like her mother put men before her children.
Once Kandi arrives, she suggests Marlo and Emma consider getting counseling together. This could help them move forward.
Sheree makes it happen.
On the day of the She By Sheree fashion show, Tyrone shows up with flowers. Sheree isn’t all that impressed. And the highlight of her day is seeing Dwight arrive. The last time she did a fashion show, Dwight said she didn’t have any fashions. So now it’s time to prove him wrong.
Sheree’s fashion show is a huge success. And she refuses to talk to Tyrone again.
