Melody’s okay with no longer being friends with Destiny.
Stormi’s filmig a commercial for Canvas Beauty and Tiffany is the talent. Melody stops by the set for a quick chat. She thanks Stormi for putting on a great Peace Party. Melody also tells Stormi and Tiffany about Destiny inviting her to a photo shoot for a chat.
However, Melody doesn’t answer if she’s now friends again with Destiny. She lets them know that she and Destiny are cordial. Despite this, Stormi is hopeful they can rebuild their friendship. Lastly, Melody tells the ladies about her trip to Destin, FL, and that she invited Martell and Marlene on the trip.
Melody is being the bigger person and sees growth in Martell. But, she’s going to tell the kids that she and Martell aren’t getting back together.
Destiny’s okay with her and Melody no longer being friends.
Meanwhile, Destiny is hosting her cousin Demi, celebrating work on a recent beauty project together. During their conversation, the peace party comes up as they discuss the guest list for an upcoming event.
Demi shares her thoughts about the event and reveals she knew Melody and Martell. Specifically, she went to school with Martell. Demi also agrees with Destiny and Melody about not being friends.
This then leads Destiny to recap her recent conversation with Melody. Destiny tells Demi there’s nothing that could happen for her and Melody to be friends, and they’re okay with it.
Martell’s excited about the trip to Destin, Florida.
Eventually, Melody and Vanessa are packing for the trip to Destin. Before they leave, Melody surprises Vanessa, telling her mom that she invited Martell and Marlene. It’ll be the first time Marlene and Vanessa will speak since their kids’ divorce. Vanessa wants all of them to get along for the sake of the children.
Meanwhile, Martell and Marlene are packing for the trip. Martell tells Marlene he doesn’t know what to expect. He’s happy he and Melody are in a better place and Marlene agrees. Martell then tells Marlene about his talk with the guys after playing basketball last week regarding giving the kids false hope.
Marlene lets Martell know he has to be on the same page with Melody about that. But he does have hope that he and Melody could get back together in the future.
Meanwhile, Kimmi and Maurice are returning from their chemotherapy treatment. She’ll have 16 treatments in 20 weeks, then surgery to remove the tumors. She received good news, however, as she learned cancer hasn’t affected other parts of her body. But, Kimmi understands the severity of the situation. She’s appreciative of her doctor being honest about everything and keeping it real with her.
Eventually, Melody is on the road with the kids to Destin and the kids are all excited to see their dad.
Later on, Kimmi and Maurice meet with Kimmi’s parents, Jaylin, and the family to talk about the prognosis. Kimmi’s appreciative to have her parents in town along with Jaylin. They’ll be able to help Maurice be there for Kimmi. Luckily, she doesn’t have any genetic traits for breast cancer.
Lastly, she hasn’t told anyone else but LaTisha about her diagnosis, yet.
Melody and Martell make progress.
Finally, Melody and the kids make it to Destin and the kids are excited about the vacation house. Martell and Marlene arrive later in the day and are greeted by the children. Melody and Martell greet each other, Martell gives Melody her favorite snack, and the trip is off to a great start. But things turn out disappointing when the pizza shop gets their order of pizza and wings wrong.
Martell doesn’t care as he’s appreciative Melody tried to order his favorite pizza. The kids also notice their parents are wearing white shirts. Martell says it was unplanned.
Next, Martell rubs Melody the wrong way when he jokes about them sleeping in the same bed. He also ponders why he’s not sleeping on the same floor with the kids. Melody then shoos him out of her room.
Despite this, Martell feels everyone is positive. Meanwhile, Melody tells the kids she is not getting back with Martell.

Good to see Oprah’s back to positivity and teaching the importance of taking care of one’s health. That fighting, cursing,and being cruel to others was not a good look. Welcome back to being a productive network.
