Martell is back in a bad place with Melody.
Melody’s in the middle of a private massage at home when Stormi stops by. While Stormi and Melody chat, Melody recaps her vacation to Destin with Martell and the family.
While the trip went relatively well, Melody tells Stormi Martell revealed her Covid-19 diagnosis to his son’s mother. And she subsequently posted about it on social media. Oddly, when Melody called him about it, Martell inadvertently called Melody the woman’s name.
Meanwhile, Melody doesn’t care about Martell’s dating life. She has no problems with or nothing to say about Martell’s new fling. In fact, she feels Sheree’s a great person.
With all of this in mind, Melody feels Martell is messy and about the drama. So, she’s not going to Martell’s wine event in Huntsville.
Martell’s preparing for his event.
Speaking of Martell’s event, he and Chris Fletcher are meeting with the planner, his cousin Kim. Destiny stops by to see the venue. She tries to ask Martell about Sheree but he doesn’t care to talk about her. However, when Destiny shows Martell Melody’s interview, he seemingly feels a type of way about Melody’s opinion. In fact, Martell says it’s not any of her business who he’s dating.
Meanwhile, LaTisha’s getting ready for the wine tasting and she’s coordinating her outfit with Marsau. It’s the first time they saw everyone outside of the original six since Destiny’s event. Marsau thinks they’ll be tension as there’s been during past events.
However, LaTisha reassures Marsau everyone is fine, including Destiny and Stormi. She also mentions she’s cordial with Melody. LaTisha understands this is a big event for Martell. They’ll even say they’ll serve Martell’s wine in Blaque.
Marsau says Martell “leveled up” with Sheree, bothering Melody.
Of course, LaTisha and Marsau talk about Sheree confirming her relationship with Martell and Melody’s interview about it. Marsau feels Melody isn’t unbothered about Martell’s relationship. In fact, he says Melody felt better when he “leveled down” with his son’s mother. But now, he “leveled up” with Sheree.
Eventually, it’s time for the event, and Martell’s guests arrive at the venue. Martell wants the event to be perfect. During the event, Destiny, LaTisha, Stormi, and Tiffany talk. Tiffany asks Destiny if she’s cordial with Melody. Destiny says she can be in a room with Melody. Destiny then reminds Tiffany she’s the only one that got on her nerves during Stormi’s peace event.
Meanwhile, Chris Fletcher pulls Martell aside to talk about the alleged alibi he gave LaTisha about his trip to Atlanta. Martell said he told his truth to LaTisha. He says he isn’t going to make up a story and put Chris in the middle of it.
Later on, Martell reveals he told Sheree not to attend. Apparently, he didn’t want his relationship to overshadow the wine.
Kimmi tells Destiny and Stormi about her cancer journey.
Eventually, Martell gives a written speech and presents a photo of his grandmother Inest. He also has Marlene and most of his aunts and uncles in attendance.
Overall, the event was a success for Martell. After the speech, Kimmi and Maurice talk to Stormi and Courtney about her cancer diagnosis. Stormi hugs Kimmi. Meanwhile, Marsau talks to Jaylin about his mom. Jaylin is scared and it’s a tough thing to handle. Marsau can relate because his mom also had a cancer diagnosis. He gives Jaylin advice and embraces him.
Melody and Martell clash, again.
The next day, Martell stops by Melody’s house and she won’t let him in. He demands to be let in the house and she responds in kind by closing the door on him. Melody set boundaries and she’s standing by them. She walks out to Martell’s car with their daughter’s book bag but he drives off. However, he calls her to tell her to stop being disrespectful and rude.
The call doesn’t go anywhere and Martell says she’s being petty. Eventually, he drives off. But he doesn’t drive off far as he returns to Melody’s home, parking in the driveway. A frustrated Melody walks outside as she’s unsure how to handle his “PMS mood swings.”
Melody expresses her frustration with his son’s mother airing out her covid diagnosis publicly. However, Martell says she can’t hold him accountable. But because of the things he did in the past, she will always hold him accountable for whatever his son’s mother does to her.
She wants to know why he told her. Martell says he had to quarantine three separate times due to Melody catching Covid.
The conversation turns into Melody and Martell arguing with Melody bringing up Martell asking her to get back together. Eventually, Martell leaves.
Martell says they can’t even talk about what’s important for their children.

Destiny shouldn’t’ve showed Marty that interview with Melody. That made me side eye her.

THESE OTHER WOMEN WAIT TILL SOMEBODY BUILD UP, THEN TRY TO TAKE. THEY THINK THEY ARE A BETTER WOMAN, BUT NOT, JUST JEALOUS OF SOMEBODYS ELSE’S STUFF.
MELODY KEEP WALKING WITH SOMEONE ELSE. CHILDREN GOT MORE SENSE THAN PEOPLE REALIZE. TALK TO THEM. YOUR CHILDREN WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY TOO.
