On the recent episode of “Power Book II: Ghost,” Tariq is starting to feel the pressure of the RICO case the feds are building against him and Monet. Time is running out. And the camera on Stansfield’s campus was just what they needed. Detectives were able to secure footage of Effie and Diana at the drug stash.
Tariq is also still on icy terms with Effie. But he records an in-person conversation they have about Lauren. During the conversation, Effie admitted she made the decision to kill Lauren without Tariq’s knowledge. This audio is able to persuade Lauren to not cooperate too much with the feds. And it will give Tariq time to come up with a plan. He also finds out Saxe has been the mole the entire time.
Plus Brayden discovers a concerning truth about Weston Holdings and Monet makes another bold move to keep her role in Lorenzo’s demise hidden.
