Kimmi and Maurice continue their disagreement.

Tonight’s episode begins with the continuation of Kimmi and Maurice’s disagreement. Maurice brings up how he feels Kimmi never got over the situation behind Kiuwha and Kimmi’s disagreement. Kiuwha feels that Kimmi interfered with a possible reconciliation but Kimmi says she lied. She also doesn’t like how Maurice feels like she’s holding on to this resentment.

Maurice says that if he was “ugly,” and more stern regarding supporting Kimmi about this, Monster wouldn’t be living with them.

Kimmi tries to say he gets stern with people professionally and Maurice says he disagrees.

In her interview, Kimmi says Maurice protects Monster and Kiuwha’s image to her detriment. To make things worse, Maurice says he’s going to set up a dinner date between Kimmi and Kiuwha. She leaves the conversation angry.

LaTisha invites Keke to Mobile, AL.

The next day, LaTisha’s with her daughters. The girls are having a photo shoot for The Maci and Mila Brand. This is the hair care line LaTisha created for her daughters. She wanted to introduce them to the entrepreneurship world. During the photo shoot, Keke stops by for support. Keke brings up how she learned LaTisha is receiving the key to the city of Mobile, Alabama. She didn’t like not hearing about this from LaTisha herself.

LaTisha invites her to the event and Keke accepts. She also apologizes to Keke for the short notice.

Kimmi and Melody talk Kiuwha and whether or not Kimmi was a side chick.

Meanwhile, Melody and Kimmi enjoy a spa date. Melody wanted to treat Kimmi to celebrate the success of the cancer treatment. While at the spa, Kimmi vents about Maurice and Monster’s lack of support at home. Next, Kimmi tells her about the meeting they had with Kiuwha and brings up that they’re making progress. However, she feels they’ll never be good friends.

This leads to Melody asking if Kimmi felt she interfered in Kiuwha’s marriage to Maurice. Kimmi says they both signed the papers and were waiting for the judge to approve it when she met Maurice and began dating.

Lastly, they talk about the meeting they had with the Comeback Group. Melody brings up how it was frustrating being in the meeting with Martell amid the court case with him. In fact, she goes into details of how this entire saga was emotionally draining with Martell asking for full custody but never properly filing paperwork. Melody tells Kimmi they finally got a court date because her attorney requested it.

Keke disappoints LaTisha.

Later on, LaTisha’s getting braids installed and is using this moment to set up a talk with Kimmi. She received the key from Mobile, Alabama during their Mardi Gras parade. However, Keke didn’t show up and this let LaTisha down. At this point, LaTisha’s ready to move forward without her cousin’s friendship.

When Keke arrives, LaTisha tells Keke she was disappointed because she really wanted to share the moment with her. Keke explained why she couldn’t go – she didn’t have transportation. But LaTisha says something always comes up.

In the end, Keke apologizes but LaTisha seemingly doesn’t accept it. Despite this, Keke says she will be at the next major event in the future. To put this to the test, LaTisha invites Keke to the Blaque Business Expo and Keke says she’ll be there.

The custody case is over and Melody and Martell vent.

The next day, Melody stops by Chris and Nell Fletcher’s house. The Fletchers were subpoenaed by Martell in the custody case and Melody wanted to talk to them about it. Neither Chris nor Nell liked it. They talk about the case and even Marlene’s testimony on the stand.

Speaking of which, Martell is over Marlene’s to talk about it. He tells his mom that this case was hurtful. Marlene was furious she had to take the stand. But Martell was frustrated that Marlene didn’t “stick it” to Melody. Despite this, he says the judge ruled in his favor.

Back at the Fletchers, Melody brings up Martell living in a house Chris has under contract. Martell has been moving multiple times and asked Melody to pay his attorney fees. In her interview, Melody suspects Martell’s having cash flow issues. Meanwhile, Martell says Melody wanted full custody. However, Melody says that happened because Martell and his attorney changed their plans before a hearing regarding a protection hearing.

Meanwhile, Melody tells the Fletchers that nothing changed. However, she’s appealing because of the opinion left by the judge. She mentioned how the judge called her out for not giving Martell her changed number. However, she says the judge failed to mention that Martell harassed her. This included following her when she went on dates.

In his interview, Martell says the judge saw that he was actually a good father.

Kimmi and Kiuwha have their sit-down

Lastly, Kimmi and Kiuwha have their sit-down. First, they talk about Monster and Kiuwha says he needs his mom. However, this is something she’ll have to figure out as she doesn’t live in Huntsville. Kimmi agrees with this. She’s also hopeful things continue to get better with them if she’s around more.

Next, Kimmi tells Kiuwha they’re in a good place and she doesn’t want to go backward. In fact, she tells her that she goes to bat for Kiuwha regarding Maurice.

Kimmi brings up the side-chick allegations and Kiuwha says she didn’t feel she was responsible for the side-chick comments by LAMH fans.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger.

  1. I must say…I’m shocked at the judges ruling ..being as though she’s a woman AND the fact that most custody cases go mostly in favor of the mother … what’s really going on??? How did she make that determination? Judges do what’s best for the children….so although Martell is a piece of work and was a horrible unfaithful husband ….he’s a good father…. Obviously

  2. Martell is so bitter. He’s the cause of not being in his children’s life full time. He only wants full custody to hurt Mel and to ask for child support. He is so low. How dare he ask for a woman to pay for his attorney fees especially when he’s the cause of the marriage being dissolved. Maurice is an insensitive jerk. First he’s being being selfish by thinking about his own sexual needs when his wife is going through a life altering health issue and not feeling her best. Than he’s forcing Kimmi to meet with his ex about a situation that should be between him and his ex. Kimmi is there to support him. Now I’m seeing he’s an a-s just like his brother. I’ll tell you what, Kimmi is no Latisha , get her wrong if you want to, she’s not going to sit around and put up with your bs.

    1. I AGREE WITH YOU 1 MILLION PERCENT THAT MARTELL IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHY SOME MEN ARE LABELED “DOGS”. MY LABEL FOR MARTELL IS “HOUND

KIMMIE NEEDS TO DIVORCE MAURICE. HE ONLY THINK WITH HIS OTHER HEAD., NO CONSIDERATION OF HER, AND HER HEALING. JUST HIS SEXUAL FULFILMENT. THAT IS NOT A REAL “MAN”

RUN KIMMIE AS FAST AS YOU CAN. IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU, HE WILL BE BACK WITH
MONSTERS MOM, BECAUSE NOBODY ELSE WANTS HIM BUT HER, AND VICE VERSA, NOBODY WANTS HER

  3. There is nothing shocking about the female judge being misogynistic, especially in the south. Happens all the time. And that is why so many domestic violence victims have horrible outcomes. Look it up. Anyway, we just watched the Supreme Court knock down affirmative action. Judges get it wrong all the time.

    1. AND…In more custody cases than not- Judges get it right!
Martell sans equivocation was selfish in his thinking and actions with relation to him being a serial adulterer during his marriage. That is however old news. Post-divorce, He’s shown remorse, has sought forgiveness, and has diligently been working on being a better him and the best father that he can be. Custody of and the overall well being of their children post-divorce, is at this time ALL that matters now. Choosing to maintain an affair outside his marriage aside- Melody herself has on more than one occasion publically admitted that he is a great father. Also that during their marriage, he was physically with their children-more than she was. So it appears with just those two factors…clearly many more too, the judge got it right with the ruling that joint custody is still what the court is mandating.

      1. She didn’t get it right. The judge completely ignored Martell’s history of aggression, stalking and harassment of Melody and then chastised Melody for voicing concern for her own safety. She also said Melody doesn’t have the kids’ best interest in mind but Martell does. But Melody is the one who put the kids into therapy. Judges like this are the reason why so many women aren’t able to escape domestic violence situations. I also do not think Martell is a good father at all. He left his house during quarantine to impregnate someone else (he could have harmed Melody and his kids), had his kids sleeping on air mattresses out of hatred for Melody, and embarrasses his kids on social media. I understand that many in the black community have low standards for what a good father is but I do not.

  4. KEEP WATCHING, AS AT THE END MELODY TOLD NAIL THAT THE WOMAN JUDGE GAVE NARTELL HER PHONE NUMBER. THAT IS NOT THE NORM. HOPEFULLY MELODY WILL TELL HER LAWYER, AND THEY REMOVE THIS FELAME JUDGE FOR UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR “THIRSTY BOOTS”
