Flo is moving on and Vonshae has concerns.
Florence is going through a divorce. Although she believes she’s doing what’s right in response to Marlon’s infidelities and possible secret baby, her family wants her to go back to Marlon. Her mother in particular believes Flo should work things out with Marlon because they share children. This makes Flo feel like Marlon can do whatever he wants because he’s a man. Meanwhile, she is expected to stay and tolerate the unfaithfulness. Regardless, she’s going to continue to move forward without Marlon. And she’s already dating.
Gunplay and Vonshae are both stressed out about their daughter’s heart condition. Although they aren’t broke, Vonshae worries her student loan debt will only make the medical bills harder to handle.
Ray J hangs out with the fellas in Miami after Princess stands him up for a poker tournament. He really wanted her to agree to move back from Vegas. However, she’s really not trying to hear him out. He suspects Princess has reached her breaking point after years of being put on the back burner for his ambition.
Flo reveals her new boo.
Joy and Bobby accompany Trina to her podcast interview. She talks about her niece being killed by gun violence last year. It’s been really hard for Trina to process the tragedy. And the situation made it so she couldn’t even focus on other things like her engagement.
Interestingly enough, Trina isn’t the only one with a life update. Joy tells Bobby she’s been dating Flo’s estranged husband Marlon. He even helps her host her Magic Monday event. But since she knows Marlon has a messy past which includes having an affair with Flo’s sister, Bobby warns her to be careful because it’s likely this won’t end well.
Flo reveals who she’s been dating. Turns out she’s in a romantic relationship with Claudia – a longtime friend of the family. This is the first romance Flo has ever had with a woman. But she’s really happy.
Even though things are going well, Flo isn’t sure how she will break this news to her religious family members.
Raymond still wants to be with Trina.
Trina’s cousin Snoop and Trick Daddy catch up with Trina’s ex-fiancé Raymond at the gym. Snoop inquires about the breakup. Raymond confirms the death of Trina’s niece was really tough for her. And she really wanted her space. However, he still really loves her. He wants them to get back together.
Before Trick heads out, he tells Raymond to move on with his life because Trina is done.
Ray J surprises Princess with a romantic night that includes a game of poker. He tells her he’ll do whatever it takes to get her back in Miami on a permanent basis. And he realizes he hurt her a lot over the years. She tearfully hears him out and agrees to make the move.
Snoop is worried Trina may be hurting in her requested solitude. But he also warns Raymond not to wait too long because life is short.
Vonshae is upset about the negative comments she’s been receiving on social media due to DJ Envy promoting their GoFundMe for their daughter. People have accused them of being scammers who don’t really need the money. This is all very taxing for Vonshae. She’s working on her dissertation and dealing with postpartum depression. Plus, she is working on becoming a federal agent. So she doesn’t want her reputation to take a hit.
Gunplay tells her not to worry about trolls on the internet. The comments don’t matter and he will deal with the situation in a way that won’t get him in some legal trouble.
Marlon’s reputation worsens.
Flo and Trina attend Joy’s Magic Monday event. Raymond shows up with flowers to woo back Trina. But she stands firm on wanting her time alone. So the only thing she can give him is closure. He leaves disappointed.
As the night goes on, Flo notices Marlon walks in with flowers. She thinks they are for her. So Flo is surprised to see him give them to Joy. She assumes he only did this to embarrass her. So she takes her glass and dumps its contents on top of Marlon’s head before leaving.
Joy looks on in horror. Trina angrily calls out Joy for engaging Marlon when he had an affair with Flo’s sister. She is certain the night’s events will only result in Trick getting involved.
What are your thoughts on the episode?
I feel really bad for Raymond. I know just how it feels to really want someone back and it’s officially over.
I did too as he was walking away….Trina was cold …she must think it’s still late 90s early 2000s…she’s not popping like she thinks ….one day she’s gonna look around and realize it’s too late and she’s gonna be alone….she’s dated a few dudes and a chic ….time to settle down ma’am before you won’t be able to
R. Kelly sang WHEN A WOMAN’S FED UP THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. Trick tried to tell him. Trina has shut down.
I admire Flo but she’s not a lesbian/bi. She’s looking for comfort and why not with a close friend. She still has some residual feelings for Marlon because her action at the party showed it.
Vonshaee had better get off of social media and try to sweep her porch if she going for any job working for the government. Her being married to Gunplay alone is a risk. Didn’t they just have a domestic situation?
I like Joy but seeing/dating Marlon screams ‘pass the Sprite so Joy can obey her thirst’ 🤣😂.
