‘Married to Medicine’ Recap: Tea & Greg Make It Official

On the recent episode of “Married to Medicine,” Heavenly’s comments at Sweet Tea’s bachelorette party result in her and Damon being taken off of the wedding guest list. Tea doesn’t think it’s cool that Heavenly was smiling in her face but telling everyone else that the marriage won’t last. Interestingly enough, Heavenly isn’t the only one who may have some explaining to do. Phaedra is also questioned about why she decided to invite Quad to the event. While she’s able to be crafty with her excuse, Jackie and Heavenly think Phaedra hasn’t abandoned her past as a pot stirrer. And they are keeping their eyes on her.

Here’s a recap for, “Revenge of the Bride.”

  1. Whatever issue that Tea has with Heavenly, she should have addressed it early instead of waiting the day of the wedding to snub her. She was the one that told Heavenly all the things at lunch she did not like about Greg, such as him trying to be controlling or throwing up in her face, how he pays the bills. I could not do it because if that is what you are on, I do not need to be with you. Lastly, Damien and Greg are friends, did Tea stop to think how that would look?

    1. Umm why do y’all expect people to be okay with Heavenly’s abuse, unwarranted aggression, and mean girl ways? Is it because you people are exactly like her or is it that you think it’s acceptable for black women to attack each other needlessly? I’m trying to understand seriously. You are angry about the wedding disinvite but seem okay with Tea being mistreated. That’s very weird and not behavior our parents taught us. Damon and Gregory are not friends. If they were, Damon wouldn’t stand for Heavenly’s treatment of Tea. Tea didn’t owe her bully a thing on her wedding day. Heavenly’s karma will be nasty. And people like you won’t understand it when it happens because you constantly enabled her for years. She’s not entertaining, she’s actually evil.

      1. Let’s start with the fact that I am not like Heavenly and you are being mean to me by saying that and you don’t know me. My point is that Tea sat with her at lunch and spilled her guts to her. You do not spill your guts to someone you barely know or who you think is a relationship expert? As Heavenly keeps saying that she is.

ThenTea turned around and disinvited Heavenly to the wedding which she really could not do since production paid for half. If she did not trust Heavenly or any of the women at their party after they constantly talked about Quad which made her upset or how they acted at the bachelorette party, then why was Heavenly singled out? She was not by herself in making comments about Tea. For example, Phaedra made comments about Tea’s bootie while Toya said she needed a waist trainer while she was trying on dresses. That girl was hurt and at that point they too were being mean.

You are making this personal when that is not necessary. You don’t know me and vice versa, so do not make assumptions about me or how I treat people. I never said I approved or disapproved of her behavior. I just believe that Heavenly was not by herself in saying inappropriate things about Tea, the relationship, Greg etc and it could have been handled differently since we are talking about how Black women gang up on each other. No one stops to think about production creating the drama that they have to play into or get cut from the show.

Quite frankly, I believe that Dr. Jackie and Symone’s relationship will never be the same because of Heavenly and that is sad. Lastly, I have not enabled Heavenly for years and have always felt that Mariah stood up to her and gave as good as she got. But she was cut from the show.

There would be no show with any of them without her.
It appeared as if Greg and Damien were friends because the blogs have shown them hanging out golfing and stuff like that before the new season aired. And whether they are or not, he just seems like a nice man who does not care for drama.

    2. Does Heavenly stop to think about how her bully behavior makes her look as a mother of a young and impressionable black woman? Heavenly is in her 50s. Why is she not being a role model?

  2. Tea did not owe Heavenly an invite to her wedding. Heavenly and Jackie talked that woman into doing the show so that, Heavenly could make fun of her, laugh at her, and just be a b*tch. Tea didn’t owe to Heavenly to have her present at her wedding that Heavenly said wouldn’t last. Heavenly just got a little of what she dishes and people are upset!
