LaTisha apologizes to Stormi.
Kimmi and Maurice are with their brother Micah at their new office. Marcus has been slow-walking the renovation and Kimmi’s ready to move in. She tells them both they need to hurry up and finish as they are behind schedule. Kimmi then jokes about Maurice not being as handy as she likes.
But Maurice lets Kimmi know that he’s busy with multiple lawsuits he’s working on now. Kimmi brushes that off and tells Maurice she needs more help around the home. He comes around to what Kimmi is saying and asks for a list of things that need to be done around the home.
After this conversation, Kimmi tells Maurice about LaTisha feeling overwhelmed and taking a pregnancy test while at the spa. Maurice’s shocked about this as he clearly remembers the vasectomy he and Marsau got four years prior.
Speaking of LaTisha, she’s at her office space. Stormi stops by. LaTisha tells Stormi she got back from a vacation. Stormi asks about Keke and LaTisha says the event was the final straw and she hasn’t talked to her cousin since. She also believes Keke is still using pills but hasn’t seen her do it. LaTisha turns the conversation to the girls’ trip she took for her friend.
Stormi’s shocked to learn Marsau took a bachelor party trip with his friends to Columbia. She tells LaTisha that Columbia is known for brothels. LaTisha says she and Marsau are adults and they know how to behave themselves. They then talk about Courtney and Stormi feels they all should do a double date. LaTisha agrees.
Lastly, Stormi brings up the website for Latisha’s haircare line and LaTisha says she wasn’t as hands-on. As a result, this mistake was made. While LaTisha blames her assistant and web designer, Stormi says the blame falls at LaTisha’s feet. LaTisha also disagrees with Stormi that the debacle wasn’t a good look for their brands.
Eventually, LaTisha apologizes to Stormi for the incident.
Nell agrees with Chris about their son.
Chris stops by Nell’s daycare with food for her and they talk about Flex. Nell tells Chris Flex is still avoiding her phone calls and Chris says Flex felt attacked the dinner. Nell defends her actions and says their son needs to be right by them and his siblings. She also feels that Flex does not want to hear the truth.
When Chris tells Nell that Flex is falling into depression, Nell says their son isn’t happy with his life and alludes that he’s a different person when he’s high. Chris then tells Nell that he goes out driving aimlessly late at night because of his mental state, which breaks him down.
Nell says things changed when the football recruitment didn’t go anywhere and he got in trouble with the law. The money isn’t that important to Nell, she just wanted to hold him accountable. But if he’s willing to go to counseling, she’ll drop Flex’s debt.
Kimmi continues to set things straight with LaTisha and Melody.
Meanwhile, Kimmi’s setting up a temperature check of sorts between her, LaTisha, and Melody at a nail salon. LaTisha arrives first and mentions she didn’t tell Marsau about the pregnancy test. Kimmi pushes LaTisha to tell Marsau about it.
Later, Melody arrives. When she arrives, Kimmi mentions that she wasn’t invited to the name change ceremony. She saw pictures from the event on social media and wondered why she wasn’t invited. Melody says she didn’t want the event to become a negative thing amongst the group because their husbands hang with Martell. But Kimmi feels this is telling that she and LaTisha aren’t Melody’s “real friends”.
This leads to a conversation about “a stereotypical cycle” of Black kids having different last names from their moms. In response, Melody brings up how Kimmi and Jaylin no longer have the same last name, and that it doesn’t bother her and her children.
Next, Melody speaks to LaTisha, and LaTisha brings up how Melody told Kimmi how LaTisha’s energy towards her was different. LaTisha apologizes and says her energy was off with everyone involved in the business expo.
LaTisha mentions that her relationship with Melody is fragile and doesn’t want anything to cause a setback. Unfortunately, Melody says she and LaTisha are unable to unblock each other on social media due to their blocklist being extensive.
The double date goes awry.
Lastly, Courtney and Stormi are ready for their double date with LaTisha and Marsau and Stormi already has her guard up. Stormi mentions to Courtney about her conversation with LaTisha about the website fiasco and feels that LaTisha was playing with her. Speaking of which, LaTisha and Msau showed up to their double date over 90 minutes late.
When they do arrive, they all play pool and talk about recent events. This leads to Courtney bringing up how Marsau sarcastically called him Mr. Steele. Courtney calls that childish. This leads to Marsau and Stormi going back and forth about Stormi calling him a b****. While standing on why she called him that, she says she’s not going to do it again.
Marsau says she’s going to ignore what Stormi says and Stormi replies that’s why Keke threw a drink in LaTisha’s face. LaTisha feels Stormi’s being very shady. She considers blaming her for Keke’s “bad behavior” unfair.
Marsau then mentions to Stormi that “in her culture,” b**** is a common word, which offends Stormi and she leaves the double date.
What are your thoughts about the episode?
Stormi is not gonna stop be DISRESPECTFUL to Marsau until she cause her husband to get into a physical confrontation.I have NO RESPECT for women that put males in Unnecessary situations.I think Latisha is SCARED of Stormi because she keep allowing her to disrespect her husband.
RIGHT!
You are so correct about Stormi! She is one of the most aggressive, brazen, and disrespectful woman that I have ever seen. Clearly, she is trying to make Marsua jump at her so her husband will, as she believes, beat his ass. However, she better be careful in this manipulation game she is playing.
I am going to give Tisha props for not ripping into Stormi for calling her husband a *b.
WE CANNOT BE LOOKING AT THE SAME SHOW???? MARSAU IS THE MOST DISRESPECTABLE JACK***
ON REALITY TV
What culture is Stromi? I must have missed something 🤔.
I miss that too. Marshall is nasty and shady and acts like a b. So I can understand why Stormie continues to refer to him in that manner. He is arrogant and dismissive of all women period. That is his culture if he wants to speak on a culture narrative.
Melody sees the cast as her co workers not her close friends. And as such you are under no obligation to invite your colleagues to your personal affairs not your holiday parties, weddings etc. What’s hard to understand about that?
Ratchet….hood….I think it’s her upbringing….Her Husband should talk to her about that…money can’t buy class….
