Detective Howard meets with the captain and his union rep. He’s on edge about the whole meeting. They quickly inform him that they have proof he has a connection to Marvin. They saw he had officers look for Lou Lou recently. And that means he has a connection to Organized Crime as well. He is told to turn in his gun and badge because he is being put on leave.
Meanwhile, Marvin’s lawyer plans to have a conversation with the feds as Marvin declares his innocence.

Marvin tells Raq the streets are saying it was Ronnie who put the hit out on her. Kanan had nothing to do with this. And Ronnie is upset she cut off their supply. She refuses to go to war with her son. Instead, she tells Marvin to schedule a meeting with Snaps and Pop.
Kanan confronts Ronnie for putting a target on Raq’s back, but Ronnie doesn’t regret his actions. He tells Kanan that Raq came for them so he hit back. Although Pop and Snaps ask the men to calm down, Kanan is heated. And he warns Ronnie that he’s underestimating him.
Ronnie makes his next move.

Marvin’s talk with Pop and Snaps isn’t productive. They refuse to put a stop to the pending war.
Howard tells Raq that the feds are starting to piece things to together. It’s just a matter of time before they figure out Raq and Howard’s connection. So they need to give up Marvin.
Juke and Kanan walk and catch up. Kanan doesn’t know how to feel about Juke joining the army. She doesn’t think it’s a big deal since women aren’t usually put on the front lines. Kanan brings up Raq. He confirms Ronnie has been making moves on his own. And he’s done with Ronnie. A van of men pulls up. They hop out to snatch Kanan while pointing a gun at Jukebox.
Raq and Kanan make tough decisions.

While Howard and Raq are still arguing over what to do, Marvin and Jukebox confirm Ronnie snatched up Kanan.
A visit with Pop and Snaps confirms Ronnie will only hand Kanan over if Raq gives up her plug, business, and $500,000. Raq borrows the cash from Stefano.
Lou Lou briefly considers taking his own life with an extension chord but can’t go through with it. He sobs.
When Raq, Marvin, and Howard arrive at Ronnie’s location to exchange the cash for Kanan, chaos ensues. Kanan says he was not kidnapped. He and Ronnie were working together. When Ronnie starts counting the cash, Kanan kills him. Raq takes Ronnie’s gun and kills Howard. Kanan questions why Raq did this. And she tells him it had to be done.
Marvin comes to usher them all out of the building. Sometime after they leave, the camera shows someone with boots walking up to Ronnie’s corpse. The person is revealed to be Unique who is now rocking a scar where he was hit. Adult Kanan narrates that Ronnie’s mistake was not making sure Unique was dead.
