Florence explains to Claudia she has nothing with Marlon.
The episode with Florence meeting her girlfriend Claudia at a park. Claudia is upset Flo allowed Marlon to stay at the house. Florence listens to Claudia open up about her feelings and their confrontation over Marlon. She needs Claudia to trust her about this. But Claudia says Marlon makes it seem he and Florence are still sleeping with one another.
Of course, Florence talks about confronting Amara for an alleged fake storyline at Bobby’s party. She also had an altercation with Hawt Topic
Meanwhile, Trina’s at a concert at Vorhees College in South Carolina. She has her boyfriend Swurv with her and it’s a sign she’s making things serious with him. Her set went over well with the crowd.
Shay suffers a major loss and Fabo clashes with Sandra.
The next day, Shay’s with her mom fighting tears. Shay’s emotional because she’s on the way to the hospital. She’s going to have a procedure completed to move her unviable fetus—Fabo’s on his way into town to support Shay.
Sandra, Shay’s mom, stays with Shay the whole time. When she goes outside to call Emjay, Fabo approaches her. Although Sandra isn’t a fan of Fabo, she still feels the need to be honest about what is going on now with Shay. Sandra tells Fabo Shay has lost the baby and she’s going through the procedure. The sad news doesn’t make Sandra and Fabo get along, they have to cut the conversation short after they begin arguing.
Hawt Topic is still fuming by Gaelle putting her past arrests on blast. So she tells Joy that she will expose Gaelle for allegedly being late on her salon’s bills.
Amara and Bobby want revenge on Florence and Gaelle.
Bobby and Amara compare notes about Florence. Neither believes she’s been in the dark about Gaelle’s motives. And they believe she may be pushing her sister to cause problems. Either way, Bobby didn’t like that Gaelle came for Hawt Topic at his event. He’s going to return the energy if he doesn’t get an apology. Amara is feeling the same way. She didn’t like that Florence told her she needed to be done with Safaree. It just seemed messy and out of nowhere.
Shay clashes with Sandra over her revelation to Fabo. She tells Sandra it was not her place to tell Fabo she lost the baby. And she always pokes at him and plays the victim when he snaps. Sandra says Shay is wrong to accept Fabo’s treatment of her. But Shay tells Sandra she stayed when her husband cheated. So she has no right to be hypocritical. Sandra storms off and Fabo grins before consoling Shay.
Marlon meets up with Gaelle to tell her he’s been sleeping with Florence again. And he needs her to help him get rid of Claudia permanently.
It’s the day of Florence’s event for her new makeup line. Marlon shows Claudia a video of Flo twerking on him. But she brushes this off as him lying to break up her and Flo.
Bobby and Amara confront Florence about her recent behavior. She has no remorse about commenting about Safaree to Amara. And she doesn’t feel bad about clashing with Trina and Hawt Topic at Bobby’s event. She accuses both of being jealous of her success.
Florence’s mom blows up the spot on Flo and Marlon.
Marlon and Flo’s mom tells Claudia that Flo has been sleeping with Marlon. When Claudia says she doesn’t believe this, Marlo shows her a photo of Flo sleeping next to him. This upsets Claudia, so she storms off.
In a green screen interview, Florence admits she slipped up with Marlon.
Flo calls out Marlon for causing her breakup with Claudia. She wants him to leave the salon.
Hawt Topic’s cousin pulls up to the event with a bullhorn to tell everyone Florence is three months behind on her salon bills. Amara tells Flo she can help her with her bills and Florence isn’t here for the shade.
