Candiace and Wendy deny coming for Gizelle’s daughter.
Wendy demands to know what Robyn, Gizelle, and the others were discussing while she, Candiace, and Karen were doing their own thing. Robyn admits they were talking about how Candiace and Wendy reacted to Gizelle talking about her concern about Grace going to college in Florida. She accuses them of laughing and making faces. And this was rude and insensitive because Grace is a child.
Wendy says she doesn’t like to talk about Grace since Gizelle “weaponized” her a couple of seasons ago when she accused Wendy of giving her daughter a mean look. Candiace and Wendy clarify that they would never shade Grace or any of Gizelle’s children. And the shade was intended for Gizelle only. But Candiace thinks it’s hypocritical since Gizelle and Robyn always give shady looks when they speak.
Gizelle and Karen hash things out, again.
Later, the ladies get together to have a birthday dinner for Ashley near the pool. Karen asks Robyn and Candiace if there is any way that they can move forward despite their issues, and Robyn says she thinks Candiace attacked her on X when she was going through a vulnerable time. And she doesn’t think she flipped on Candiace amid the accusations made by Gizelle. Robyn regrets defending Chris since she’s currently not on good terms with Candiace. So she doesn’t think there is a path forward but they can be cordial.
Candiace says she’s tired of talking about their fallout because Robyn has decided she is the victim.
Gizelle talks to Karen about what she feels was a slight towards Grace. She questions why Karen didn’t tell Candiace and Wendy that children are off limits. Karen says Gizelle should have spoken her mind when she had the chance. But she chose not to and she is wondering if Gizelle is afraid to just face off with Wendy and Candiace. Regardless, Karen agrees she can start considering different perspectives outside of Wendy and Candiace’s side of things. They hug it out.
Candiace and Gizelle’s feud has caused a lot of tension in the group.
When the ladies meet back up for a day of more activities in the Dominican Republic, Karen says she’s been getting some workout tips from former NFL player Vernon Davis. He’s her new trainer. Gizelle pushes Karen to set Ashley up on a date with Vernon and Ashley says she already knows Vernon. He’s a “friend.” When the ladies ask for more details, Ashley dismisses herself for the restroom.
Ashley returns and confirms she talks to Vernon via Instagram DMs. But they are just friends although she can’t help but blush while discussing him.
Karen brings up her recent conversation with Gizelle. Mia says it does seem like Karen becomes mean when Wendy and Candiace are around. But Wendy and Candiace say this isn’t true. They just don’t like that Karen holds them accountable.
Keiarna thinks the biggest issue is Gizelle isn’t on good terms with Wendy and Candiace. Everyone else can’t ignore the tension. Neither Candiace nor Gizelle feel like talking about any of this. So the group moves on.
Mia shares her theory about Ashley.
The ladies separate into two different groups for their day festivities. Robyn, Gizelle, Nneka, Mia, Ashley, and Keiarna are shooting a gun with an instructor. Candiace, Wendy, and Karen play some tennis.
Gizelle asks Keiarna how her first group trip is going. She’s happy to get to know everyone for herself. When Robyn questions if Wendy said anything about any of them, she says Wendy hasn’t said she dislikes Gizelle. And it seems like Wendy’s biggest focus has been her issue with Nneka. She herself would have just apologized and moved on.
Nneka asks Keiarna if she told Wendy to apologize because she was offended, too. So Keiarna needs to stop stirring the pot. This leads to tension between Nneka and Keiarna, and Keiarna asks Nneka if there’s another problem she wasn’t aware of. And Nneka needs to move on because the issue has become stale.
Mia eventually joins the others at the tennis court to gossip about Ashley. She suspects Ashley has changed her mind about divorcing Michael because she’s afraid to lose his financial support. Karen, Wendy, and Candiace can see this. Candiace notes Ashley’s nonexistent relationship with her father also likely plays a part.
Mia is called out for calling Ashley a gold digger.
Ashley later attempts to FaceTime Michael to see the boys but he refuses to ever be filmed for the show again.
It’s another dinner for honesty since Wendy tells the group that Mia called Ashley a gold digger who doesn’t plan to go through with the divorce. When Ashley asks Mia if she married Gordon for his money, Mia says she might have. In a green screen interview, Ashley says Mia is just jealous that Michael is wealthy and Gordon not so much. Regardless, Ashley denies being a gold digger. She says she married Michael for love but she still depends on Michael to pay for a lot of expenses for her and their sons. She also was given a joint credit card for emergency expenses and Uber Eats.
