Jasmine’s friendship with Jordan is strained.
Season two of “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard” premiered this weekend. During the premiere, most of the season one cast returned for their 15-day vacation in the historic summertime destination for African Americans. One noticeable absence is Jasmine’s husband Silas.
The US Army deployed Silas to Eastern Europe for 10 months. So, his wife Jasmine is at the summer house without her spouse. To make things worse, her friendship with Jordan is strained. While on the way to the summer house, Jordan is with Summer. The ladies speak about Jasmine. Jordan felt Jasmine was pushy last year when trying to hook her up with one of their single friends.
Jordan tells Summer she doesn’t feel like they may have been real friends with Jasmine after all. To make things worse, Jordan feels Jasmine hasn’t talked to her. Meanwhile, Jasmine vents to their friend Bria about being there without Silas and her strained friendship with the rest of the ladies.

Amir has a new girlfriend.
Next, Amir reveals he has a girlfriend this time around. Natalie, a Cuban woman, has been dating Amir for about a year, and it’s pretty serious. Natalie will visit Amir at the house sometime this season, and they will have awkward sleeping arrangements. They’ll have to share a large room with Alex and Nick, which features four bunk beds.
As Amir tours the new sleeping arrangements with Alex and Nick, Jordan, Summer, and Shanice talk about Amir and his new girlfriend. The ladies feel Natalie is standoffish, and they all say none of them want Amir.

Preston is emotional over the family drama surrounding his father’s passing.
Later, Preston is back and is dealing with a major family tragedy. His father passed away, and it’s a very emotional time for him. Preston didn’t have the best relationship with his father while growing up.
To make things worse, his dad’s family disinvited Preston and his siblings from the funeral. So, Preston’s seeking support from the crew. Fortunately, all of them reached out to console him at the time of his father’s passing.

Summer calls out Alex. Bria also clashes with Preston.
Towards the end of the episode, the cast, joined by Noelle, have a crab and lobster dinner to celebrate their arrival. Unfortunately, some drama bubbles up for the cast. Jordan and Summer confront Alex for not inviting them and their friends to the event. He claims he didn’t know Summer was in his city (New York City), and they could’ve purchased tickets if they wanted to attend.
This offends Summer, especially since she was intimate with Alex. Alex didn’t appreciate how Summer openly revealed this in front of everyone.
This conversation leads to Bria clashing with Jordan, Preston, and Summer over not being invited to events they were going to. Jasmine then brings up feeling disconnected from the ladies since last summer. She feels her friends wouldn’t know each other like they do now if it wasn’t for her bringing them together last season.
Meanwhile, Amir checks on Bria to ensure she’s okay as he cleans up from the dinner.

Jasmine and Jordan hash things out.
On day two of their vacation, the group goes out on a yacht, and Preston spends time with his friends while mourning his father’s passing. It’s the day of the funeral, and he’s emotional about it. Thankfully, his friends keep his spirits high. Meanwhile, Jasmine and Jordan discuss their friendship, and Summer talks to Alex about their situation.

Jasmine and Silas were insufferable newlyweds the first season. I’m not surprised Jordan and the others started hanging out without them.
Omg I was so happy Silas was not coming he annoys the **** outta me 🤦♀️. I was hear for it when Preston gave it to Bria she is also annoying wit her ugly self lord forgive me AND SUMMER gives pick me I'm thinking GUL HE TOLD U HE WAS A **** BOY so I didn't feel sorry for her she rolled dem dice 🤷♀️

However now it seems like A MEAN GIRL GROUP, yes MEAN GIRLS. Grown mature women know how to have a conversation in order to resolve issues and move forward. This one on one conversation could have happen before this trip, but instead you chose to be a witch and punish Jasmine for choosing her marriage with Silas. Which makes JORDAN seem like the Jealous friend. The rest of the group are just as guilty because they should be moving like adults and encouraged a resolve. Jasmine is a married woman with a husband(who is a jerk) but thats her husband and you are supposed to be her best friend who support her through thick or thin. I think you’re upset that Jasmine don’t move the way she use to move because DING, DING, DING she is a married woman. Not a playboy bunny anymore. Hell, Jordan are you in love and that’s why you’re upset because she tried to set you up and she didn’t notice that you’re in love with her. I am just trying to understand the MEAN GIRL stance. You acting strange and you haven’t discuss being with a man or trying to get with one either. Just saying it seems Strange the way you’re acting and if that’s it say it.
Yeah Summer SMH you knew what it was when you spread eagle girl. Be mad at yourself GIRL you look crazy and you embarrassing yourself nobody needed to know your business. Some stuff should remain private.
Jasmine these people are not your friends just Co-workers. They showed you their true colors. Move on, married bunny! Start hanging out and travel with other married couples who can relate.
However Bria was the only one that asked Jasmine how she was doing amd seemed to care that she was missing her husband.
