Hawt Topic and Zoey Brinxx hash things out.
The episode begins with Zoey Brinxx and Gaelle being separated during Amara’s brunch. Zoey vents to Amara about what happened. Hawt Topic sees what happens and feels bad for her previous comments to Zoey earlier in the season. This leads to Hawt Topic and Zoey hashing out their issues.
Back in Miami, Trick Daddy hangs out with Jay and his family. Trina calls, and Trick passes Jay the phone. During the call, Trina tells Jay he will not perform at the 50th anniversary event. She tells him that while he wants him to perform, the event is not the best for him. After, Trina jokingly tells Trick that he needs to head to the DR.
Amara gets disrespected by Allan.
Back in the DR, Amara shows some of their girls, including Brooke, some of her culture. Trick takes Trina’s advice and shows up, frustrating Amara, who only wanted a girls-only trip. Later on, Allan shows up and talks to Amara about their kids. Amara does her best to keep things positive. As the event goes on, Allan dances with Gaelle and Florence. Amara catches Allan flirting with Florence, which she feels is disrespectful.
She pulls Allan aside to tell him about his actions, and Allan tells her they are not together. Everyone looks on as Allan and Amara try to talk things out. Unfortunately, things turn into an argument. Meanwhile, Brooke talks to Florence as Claudia sends a DM. She DMs Florence about Marlon FaceTiming her and Gaelle sleeping with her.
To make things worse at the event, Allan and Amara’s argument explodes, and Amara throws things at Alan. Allan ends up calling Amara a “street [bleep]” and “that’s why no one wants your black [ass].”
Shay has a sit-down with Amara.
The next morning, Amara was devastated after she argued with Allan. She was back at the hotel with her twins and mom when Brooke arrived to check in on her. Amara vented about what happened and explained how she got into her feelings when she saw Allan flirting with Florence and Gaelle.
During their conversation, Amara vents about Allan. She refers to the time Allan’s friend told her that he doesn’t like black women and only got with her because of the fame opportunity. Brooke tells Amara that she can’t fix Allan and must focus on her kids.
To make things worse, Brooke tells Amara that Shay is coming.
Later that night, Brooke had Shay, who arrived earlier that day, sit down for a talk. Brooke explains why Estelita felt a certain way about her comments on the last episode triggering Estelita. Shay says she wasn’t referring to the man that assaulted her, but her suitors, including one that left her condo to her in his will. Amara joins Brooke and Shay, and Shay stands firm in her comments about Estelita. She brings up how Amara talked badly about her.
Amara tells Shay she needs to leave and walks off as security keeps them separated.
Meanwhile, Florence is still furious with Gaelle and Marlon. Shay goes to her room to decompress, and they both vent to each other about their drama.
Estelita and Shay fail to hash things out.
Later that evening, Bobby hosts a party in his suite. During the party, everyone recaps what happened with Allan. In fact, they say that Gaelle was with Allan at the bar after the event. They also talk about what Florence showed them about Gaelle and Claudia.
The event turns tense when Shay shows up at the event, and Estelita pulls her aside immediately. The cast gets the gist and heads to the club, leaving Estelita and Shay to argue. Shay explained what she meant and apologized. Estelita, who feels she’s twisting things around, doesn’t seemingly accept the apology. Estelita then mentions not attending Shay’s daughter’s first birthday party, which hurt Shay.
The argument ends when Estelita lunges at Shay, and security has to separate them.
Amara hears about Allan going out with Gaelle.
Amara is in a much better mood the next day of their trip to the DR. This is despite Shay going live on Instagram saying she’s not going anywhere. So everyone is out on the beach. Estelita recaps what happens with Shay, and everyone agrees that Shay hit below the belt with the “daddy” comment.
Amara then says that Allan called her to apologize, and she invited him out for another talk. Everyone wants Amara to move on, but Amara wants to resolve their issues so they can finally co-parent.
To lighten the mood, they have a “lemon squeeze,” during which they criticize and compliment one another. They use this to hash things out and set boundaries with one another. Afterward, Florence pulls Gaelle aside to talk about what Claudia sent her. The message said, “Ask Gaelle about the last time they [bleep].”
Gaelle calls Claudia a clout chaser, and Florence tells her to stay away from Claudia. Meanwhile, Trina talk to her boyfriend about Florence calling her mean during the lemon squeeze.
Amara also hears from the twins that Gaelle was at the bar with Allan the night of the big blowup. She then goes to confront Gaelle. Gaelle tells Amara that she’s not with Allan. To make things worse, not only did Gaelle tell her that Allan was in her room, but Allan also showed up.
