Shanice’s feelings get hurt by Summer.
On last night’s “Summer House, Martha’s Vineyard,” Shanice’s friendship with Summer and criticisms of Nick comes into focus.
First, the friends decided to host a costume party of sorts. Everyone was tasked with dressing up as a decade. Shanice was the only one who didn’t pull off a decade. However, the laughs were plentiful when Shanice didn’t catch Bria’s shade when Bria called her a working girl.
Things got a bit testy when everyone changed into their beachwear and bikinis. A question was posed: Who is the worst-dressed person in the house? Despite finding it a tricky question, Summer replies that it was Shanice. Shanice catches wind of this as she’s pouring drinks for everyone. She ends up storming off to her bathroom inside her room. Here, Shanice reveals off-camera that she was recently fired from her job and has no money.
Amir also has an awkward text message exchange with his girlfriend as this happens. He then heads off to have a conversation with her.
She talks things over with Bria and eventually rejoins the group and parties the night away.

Nick is confronted about being too handsy with the ladies in the group.
The following day, the group splits into two. One group goes to brunch while the other experiences an intense workout led by Amir. Jordan, Preston, and Summer head to brunch, and they talk about what transpired the night before. Here, they speak about Nick, who gets too handsy with them. This led to Jordan getting aggressive with him during their costume party.
Later in the show, Preston speaks to Nick about this with Alex and Amir. Nick then addresses this with Jordan as the episode ends.
Meanwhile, Shanice and Summer talk things out. Shanice is displeased with Summer, saying she is the worst-dressed person in the house. Summer also has a conversation with Noelle about Alex. Noelle doesn’t want to step on anyone’s toes and is pretty smitten with Alex. She knows that Summer did have a fling with Alex. However, Summer is annoyed because she and Alex are just a fling, nothing more.
