LaTricia Reedus’ estranged husband appears on ‘Love and Marriage: Huntsville.’

Tonight’s “Love and Marriage: Huntsville” will have LaTricia Reedus’ husband making quite the splash. It’s his first appearance on the show. During the season, LaTricia and her boyfriend, Ken Lee, have spoken about marriage. Ken has made it known he wants to marry her. However, her current marriage is a major hurdle. It was revealed during the season that LaTricia is separated but not divorced from her estranged husband.

LaTricia revealed she’s been separated from her husband for about five years. She claims the divorce hasn’t occurred because neither she nor her husband filed. Ken is frustrated because he can’t marry LaTricia until the divorce occurs. LaTricia agreed to reach out to her husband to start the process and finalize everything so she can move forward with Ken. She previously revealed their relationship turned sour when her parents passed away. LaTricia says her husband failed to support her in her time of need.

It seems LaTricia’s husband is ready to tell his side of things.

Marsau Scott keeps it real with LaTricia Reedus’ estranged husband about leaving LaTricia.

In the latest episode, her husband speaks with Marsau Scott about his estranged marriage with LaTricia. In the scene, Marsau asks why he left Huntsville for Atlanta. LaTricia’s husband explains he moved to Atlanta to “escape” how he felt about Ken.

“I couldn’t handle seeing [Ken] around my kids… seeing him take my kids to school every day. I couldn’t handle him taking my son to homecoming…I couldn’t handle seeing him taking my daughter to dance.”

Marsau asks him if he can’t handle seeing Ken as a father to his kids. Her husband replies, “What are we calling a father though?”

This leads Marsau to say Ken is acting “in the capacity of a father,” alluding that perhaps LaTricia was not being a father to his kids. He replies to Marsau that he’s grappling with LaTricia allowing Ken to be their father and “erasing” him from his daughter’s memory.

It’s at this point that Marsau tells him that when he willingly left his household, he not only left his wife, he left his children.

“No. You can’t just do it for six years and then not do it. See, being a father is something you earn.”

  1. The Man couldn’t take the boyfriend doing what he should have been doing for his kids, so he left the state? What kind of deadbeat logic is that?

    1. I totally agree with you. He wanted to leave his family and thought she was going to be left alone to handle everything by herself. Than mad because a real man stood up and being a role model for his kids. Grow up.

  2. Tonight ‘s episode was my favorite in a long time especially when Nell got up to speak to each child had me emotional….Marsau gets a lot of heat and sometimes rightfully so ….but tonight I think he showed another side when he talked to Trica husband.I really enjoyed this episode I give it a 9

  3. This is the first time since the airing of this show, that I agree and proud of Marsau. He told Latricia’s husband what he needed to hear. He fumbled the ball, is very emotional and need to thank that man for stepping up when he abandoned his family. He thought he was going to do what he wanted to do and since him and Latricia been together since they were young, she was just going to stick around. Even when he was selfish and not be there for her emotionally when she really needed him. Than his concerns are on the wrong thing. Being juvenile and calling this guy names, muscle guy. Grow up. I’m happy for Patricia to move on to a real man

  4. I enjoyed this episode as well. Sorry, but Nell got on my nerves. She & Chris should have been reigned in
their help to all those grown children. Sounds like those grown children all of them need help every week, that is ridiculous. They however, created those monsters so, only they can destroy them. Dr. Francis is a start

  5. I usually don’t agree with Marsau but everything he said to Tricia’s husband was on point!!! He can’t be upset because another man stepped up to do what he wasn’t willing to do when he chose to leave. Make it make sense.

    1. I agree. He corrects and educates his wife when she is moving as a child. He treats everyone the same when it comes to being accountable for your actions and life choices. He holds himself accountable.

  6. For once Marsau makes sense, I totally agree with everything he told that young man. The truth hurts, and unfortunately he thinks like a lot of men. He left her hanging, now he mad cause someone came along and picked her up. One of the very few episodes I enjoyed.
