The sisters further recap their final moments with Traci.

In the latest episode of “The Braxtons,” the family continues their session with their grief counselor. In the first clip, Evelyn is asked what she’s feeling for Kevin Jr. Evelyn feels pain for Traci’s son. It’s revealed that Evelyn helped Traci multiple times when she was ill as a child. She expresses guilt for not being able to save her this time.

Towanda also recaps what happened with Traci. Traci referred to the pain in her chest when they were filming the other show, and they encouraged her to go to her doctor when she got home. Trina expresses her grief, and Kevin is arrested during the counseling session.

The session becomes even more emotional when Trina speaks in the next clip. She’s not taking Traci’s passing well. Trina cries out, saying she wasn’t strong enough to see Traci take her last breath. She’s eating and drinking as a way to cope with the loss. Trina can’t even sleep. She hasn’t slept for two years until the sun rises because she sees Traci. Spirit, the Grief Counselor, tells them Trina is dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Next, they talk to their dad and Kevin Jr. about their feelings. Kevin specifically speaks to not just losing his mom but losing his wife via divorce. As Kevin speaks, police knock at his door, and his call abruptly ends. His aunts are concerned, and Towanda tells Tamar and Evelyn not to speak too much about what’s happening in front of cameras. Towanda calls Kevin. and Tamar is frustrated that secrets are seemingly being held.

Things calm down, and Towanda joins them back on the couch. Towanda tells them someone called the police, letting them know Kevin has a warrant for his arrest. She feels someone close to Kevin called “and set him up.”

Evelyn is fed up when Tamar and Towanda argue to end their session.

Towards the end, Toni says they’ll need another session because the energy is bad due to what happened to Kevin Jr. This leads to Tamar opening up about her feelings. She reveals she has already been to grief counseling and has boundaries around her. These boundaries appear during this session when she tells her sisters she’s no longer begging for a sisterhood.

Spirit leans in on this and asks the sisters how it feels not to feel connected or have access to each other. Towanda speaks out while Tamar says, “They don’t care.” Towanda responds, saying she feels numb to it. As Towanda speaks, Tamar rolls her eyes and laughs. She then asks when the last time Towanda spoke to her. Towanda says Tamar didn’t call her for her birthday.

Towanda says she has receipts. Eventually, Evelyn speaks out, saying she’s sick and tired of her daughters fighting. The episode ends with Evelyn going off on them, reminding them she lost a child, referring to Traci.

What are your thoughts about the episode?

    1. Thank you Queen, I’ve been saying that from season one. Evelyn is still angry
that the daddy cheated and divorced her and married her former friend. She
has all her daughter feeling in a bottle and they can’t express themselves.
Evelyn treated Traci like chit, yes I said it, bec Traci was the only daughter
to remain close with her daddy and his wife. Evelyn said she didn’t like it
and Traci said she understood but that’s her father. Tamar is an energy
drainer, her mouth never stop insulting others. They spoiled her and she
has trauma that all these different men and doctors are not getting to
the root of the problem with Tamar. That stems from her childhood and
Tamar is nasty to everyone and that’s a fact but Traci didn’t take it at all.
      RIP you Queen

  1. I can actually say I loved this episode. I just didn’t like how Traci looked in her final days. Trina really expressed how she really felt and I knew it was genuine. I really loved Traci being on the show and she’ll forever be missed. 1 question where is her husband and how’s he feeling about all this?
