Kevin Jr. calls Towanda from Jail.
Last night’s episode of “The Braxtons” first featured Towanda with Evelyn and Trina when Kevin Jr. called her. He had been arrested and was calling her from jail. Towanda reveals that Kevin Jr. had some charges stemming from his “messy divorce” from Olivia. The warrant specifically stems from a failure to appear in court regarding one of those charges.
Evelyn is concerned about how Kevin and Olivia are handling Traci’s death. After this call, Trina says she’s considering seeing the grief counselor again. Evelyn and Towanda agree with Trina’s decision. Towanda does want Evelyn to understand that all of her daughters are still processing Traci’s death.
Later, Evelyn’s with Tamar as they’re walking in a park. Tamar tells Evelyn about the self-help book she’s writing. While she doesn’t have a name for it, she feels that “Under Construction” would be a good name. Evelyn agrees and says Tamar writing this book is good therapy for her.

Trina talks to the grief counselor, and Towanda’s worried about Kevin Jr.
Next, Trina sits down with Spirit, the grief counselor she and her family met with previously. Trina opens up more to Spirit about her lack of sleep. She tells Spirit that she has vivid pictures she has created and frequently sees when she tries to sleep. But when Spirit asks her to describe those pictures, Trina shuts down and doesn’t answer.
During their conversation, Trina says that she felt punished by Von when she grieved her ex-husband, Gabe. According to Trina, they worked on this rough patch and are good now. Trina then says Gabe and Traci visit her when she sleeps. Lastly, Trina reveals that the session with her sisters was the first time they all got together to speak on things since Traci passed. However, Trina’s not sure they’ll ever work on their issues.
Lastly, Towanda is driving to pick up her teen children, Braxton and Brooke, from school. While driving, she tries to call Kevin Jr., whom she affectionately calls Scratchy. His phone is off. Towanda is concerned and is about to head to DC to check on him. She’s really concerned about his health as he has had seizures in the past.
When they return home, filming has wrapped. At that moment, a producer keeps the cameras running. Kevin Jr. calls a producer and tells them and Towanda that he no longer has his phone. Towanda tells Kevin Jr. she’s coming to DC to check on him.
