On the latest episode of “Power Book II: Ghost,” Tariq and Diana process a major heartbreak. Carter secures a major win. Here is the recap for, “I Can’t Fix This.”

Carter covers his tracks.

Tariq was able to get Diana to the hospital. Unfortunately, she lost the baby. She snaps at Tariq over how things unfolded. Diana truly believes his commitment to being in the drug game is why Detective Lewis beat her up. She attempts to make Tariq leave but he refuses. He reminds Diana and Monet that he was the child’s father. So he is owed revenge.

Cane wants to take care of Lewis himself but Monet tells him to stay out of it. She worries Cane being put on Detective Carter’s radar will get him killed.

Congressman Tate views Kamaal’s body in the morgue as Carter looks on. Tate demands to know who’s responsible. Carter doesn’t admit he is the killer. Instead, he blames Kamaal’s death on the Russian mob.

Tasha calms Tariq down.

Dru calls Diana from jail to check on her. She tells him Lewis beat her up and the baby didn’t survive. Dru wants Diana to allow him and Monet to handle Lewis. But Diana tells him it’s her situation to take care of. She takes Monet’s gun.

Tariq visits Tasha and Yas. Clarity is needed when it comes to the situation involving Diana. Tasha tells Tariq he needs to be smart. Killing a cop won’t help him get back to Tasha and Yas permanently. It will likely do the opposite.

Lewis tells Carter how things went left with Diana.

Carter confronts Lewis for attacking Diana. She denies knowing Diana was pregnant. Lewis explains she told Diana to take out Zion. Carter told Lewis to take out Zion but she forwarded the task to Diana because IAB was about to investigate her. Tariq then did the deed and was unknowingly recorded by the hidden cameras. Lewis believes the footage can be used to their advantage.

Effie wants out of the drug game. Noma will only part ways with Effie if she can find out who snitched on the Russians’ last drop. Effie asks for Brayden’s assistance. He agrees to help if Effie gives him all the drug businesses she runs on campus. She agrees to this and they’re able to download the information she needs at a cop’s house with assistance from Cane.

Dru finally gets the go-ahead to take out Roman. He hopes Carter will release him from jail.

Carter bests Tariq.

Diana finds out Lewis’ home address and kills her by beating her in the head with a cooking pot.

Carter blames Kamaal’s death on a Russian mobster and invites Tate to view the body. Tate spits on the corpse.

Effie wasn’t able to find out who snitched on Noma and the Russians. But she knows Carter and his crew are dirty cops because they didn’t report the stolen cash they stole from her. Cane passes this information on to Noma and proposes they get married to become legitimate business partners.

Diana calls Tariq to meet her at Lewis’ place. Monet arrives shortly after. Then Dru with Carter. Carter tells everyone Dru made a deal with Carter to work for him to protect the Tejada family. But now that Lewis is dead, Carter holds all the cards. If they don’t help Carter take down Noma, he will pin Lewis’ death on them all.

  1. The series is great! Do not stop it “Fifty!” Most of the other reality shows have stopped or keep playing repeats. Fifty keep it going for it’s interesting and worthwhile looking at. Love the Power series!

  2. Power is one of the better shows on Starz. It is sad with its success that this is the end. As always, we want more. It would be nice to phase Ghost back in with his son, since we don’t know what the end results really were past the shooting…. Pay the people Curtis-50. You are making a bundle off of this program. Play it out for Effie to reconnect with Tariq and end it with them changing into positive super high grand businesses other than drugs after college. Find a new role for Tasha a legit business with cameos from Debbie Morgan her tv mom. Kill those dangerous dirty killer cops.
