On the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Wendy and Gizelle move forward. Gizelle gets even when Karen forces the group to support two events on the same day. Here are the highlights of, “Double Trouble.”

Mia’s breakdown continues.

The episode begins with the conclusion of Mia’s breakdown over the critical comments made by Gizelle and Karen. Jacqueline and Jassi join Mia in the restroom.  They calm her down by telling her she’s a great mother. Mia says it was offensive for Karen and Gizelle to accuse her of not protecting her children amid her latest romance. Back at the table, Gizelle stands her ground on her opinions. She feels it was distasteful for the paternity of Mia’s son to become a hot topic on the show. Interestingly enough, Mia seems to be angry with Karen more. In a green screen interview, Mia mentions Karen is using her to “deflect” from her recent DUI and DWI charges.

When Mia rejoins the group, Karen and Gizelle say they are happy she didn’t leave. Both apologize for hurting her feelings and clarify that they don’t think she’s a bad mother.

The tense birthday event Gizelle hosted for Karen ends with Gizelle inviting Wendy to lunch. She thinks it’s time for them to hash out their issues. Wendy accepts the invite. Gizelle also invites all the ladies to an upcoming GNA charity event. The charity is raising money in honor of Gizelle’s father who passed away from brain cancer.

Gizelle and Wendy have their sit-down.

Wendy and Gizelle meet for lunch. Gizelle kicks things off by telling Wendy that she wants to hear how she feels and she hopes Wendy is open to listening to her perspective, too. She goes on to say her issue is Wendy can be very mean and condescending to the people she isn’t in a good place with. This is something that Gizelle really does not like. She thinks that makes it hard to develop a friendship.

In response, Wendy says she can receive this. But she doesn’t think it’s fair that Gizelle is trying to “police” how she responds to someone coming for her. Gizelle bringing up cheating rumors about Eddie was Gizelle knocking on her door for a problem. Gizelle denies that she is trying to police Wendy’s responses to conflict. But she just wanted to make it known what her biggest issue was.

Wendy then says that she doesn’t like that Gizelle will ice people out of the group when she doesn’t like them. Gizelle thinks it shouldn’t be an issue if she doesn’t want to talk to someone in the group. Regardless, she thinks that she and Wendy can coexist and there is no need for tension. Wendy can agree to this.

Gizelle thinks Mia’s personal life is a bit too messy for RHOP.

They move on and discuss Mia’s recent breakdown. Wendy believes Mia’s feelings were truly hurt. Gizelle says she wasn’t trying to hurt Mia but she doesn’t want anything to do with Mia’s messy personal life. She doesn’t think any of it should be shown on the show. When Wendy asks Gizelle if she’s met Inc. yet, Gizelle says she has not. But Karen met him and said he was a very short man. Wendy says this was obvious in the photos posted to social media. Gizelle jokes that Mia and Inc “can’t see eye to eye.” The former foes both get good laughs from this.

Stacey, Mia, and Jassi are kicked out of the GNA event upon arrival.

It’s the day of Ashley and Gizelle’s GNA charity for brain cancer. Karen caused a bit of a conundrum by inviting the ladies to see her receive an award for her charitable works on the same day. While she figures the ladies can find a way to attend both events, Gizelle is livid. The first stop for the ladies is Karen’s event. Keiarna and Wendy decide to stay and watch Karen receive her award. In a green screen interview, Keiarna makes it clear she wants to stay away from GNA events after the brawl that took place at the fashion show. Jassi, Mia, and Stacey leave Karen’s event and head to the GNA wellness event. When they call Ashley, she tells them they have to be there by 8 pm or there will be problems.

Mia, Stacey, and Jassi pull up to the GNA event at 8:03. Gizelle immediately approaches them and calls security to put them out. The episode ends on a cliffhanger.

What are your thoughts on the episode?

  1. Gizelle is a master manipulator and I’m tired of her using her family to hide behind the sh-tty things she does. She treated Karen like sh-t when her parents died. But I’m supposed to forget that and be outraged today because the events were on the same day. Nah, f-ck that. I don’t give a f-ck. Gizelle is a sh-tty person and if more people got their lick back like Monique and Karen just maybe she would stop playing with people. Some people need to be treated terribly because they are terrible.

    1. I don’t feel bad for Gizelle either. When Candiace tried to show sympathy about Gizelle’s dad although they weren’t good Gizelle demeaned her for caring. Gizelle doesn’t really care about GNA, brain cancer, etc. She’s just mad Karen received more support because they’ve had this silly battle over who’s the real RHOP queen since season one.

You get it! Some of us have been watching housewives way too long to be gullible!

    2. People fall for Gizelle’s victim act every season and then wonder why RHOP has fallen off so much 🤦🏾‍♀️. There were people mad at Monique for the binder like Gizelle ain’t been a witch from the beginning.

  2. Gizelle and Ashley is childish for this. Charity means donations so don’t ask me later to donate to something I was escorted out of.

  3. Karen probably didn’t pick the date of the event since she wasn’t the host. But even if she was being shady there was no need for Gizelle to be nasty to the ladies who did try to be there for both. That is where Gizelle lost me. How you kicking people out of a fundraiser and you’re trying to raise 15k for your dad? Does Gizelle even care about brain cancer at all?
