Mary Cosby appeared on WWHL with good news.
Mary Cosby has been transparent about her son’s journey with addiction during the current season of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.” During a touching scene, Mary asked Robert Jr. to be truthful about what he’s been going through lately. He admitted he has been using Xanax since he was 16 years old. Robert Jr. is addicted to the drug. Both broke down in tears after Robert confirmed that he hadn’t taken his life because of Mary. He knows his death would break her. They have always had a close relationship.
Andy Cohen was able to receive an update from Mary. She recently appeared on “Watch What Happens Live.” When he asked her how Robert Jr. was doing now, she gave a happy update.
“Robert is doing so good. I am so proud of him. So proud of him.”
Andy asked, “Without giving too much away, he went to rehab?”
Mary answered, “He did go to rehab. He stayed for a month, he completed it. He did an excellent job.”
Andy followed up with, “Is there anything that you can tell us about what happened to Robert Jr.’s wife?”
Mary confirmed Robert’s wife went to rehab as well.
“She also went to rehab. And you know what? She’s still in there.”
The emotional scene wasn’t one Mary nor Robert Jr. planned word for word.
“It wasn’t planned. We just came together, Robert and I, and I said we’re gonna do this because we’re gonna help someone,” said Mary.
She added, “He didn’t plan what he was going to say and I didn’t plan. I just said what I felt like.”
Mary became emotional at this moment and Andy consoled her.
“You did great, you did great,” he said.

I’m happy he got the help he needed it’s a sad situation. I still have questions some things that just seemed off to me!
