Sweet Tea believes Married2Med editing protects Dr. Heavenly Kimes.

The current season of “Married to Medicine” has received some criticism from fans on social media. Some feel like the show has become stagnant. In particular, some have expressed frustration with Dr. Heavenly Kimes‘ actions regarding Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford. During the latest episode, Contessa and Sweet Tea told the group that the issue is they enable Heavenly’s behavior. Contessa and Heavenly’s fallout occurred because of comments Heavenly made on her YouTube channel. Heavenly told her fans that she thinks Dr. Scott Metcalfe was abusive.

When it comes to Sweet Tea, Heavenly admitted she asked Tea to join the show to be messy. In particular, Heavenly wanted her on the show so Quad Webb could embarrass her. Prior to Sweet Tea joining the show, she and Quad had no issues. Quad even congratulated Sweet Tea and Dr. Gregory Lunceford on their engagement. Heavenly also confirmed that Dr. Jackie Walters also pushed Sweet Tea to join the cast. Nowadays Sweet Tea and Contessa are lucky if they even receive an invite to group events.

Sweet Tea has been discussing her journey on “Married to Medicine” via her YouTube channel. She recently said that editing on a past episode left out some important points of Contessa and Heavenly’s blowup which ended with Heavenly taking shots at Contessa’s deceased mother.

She said, “The way they played it out, that’s not exactly what happened. Like she did say, **** that ***** in regards to Contessa’s momma, which was crazy.”

Sweet Tea continued, “We’re definitely missing something because when that confrontation happened between Contessa and Heavenly, Heavenly was the one who had the high energy, starting it. She moved from me because they had her card sitting next to me. She was supposed to sit down and she just automatically started cussing. And then it went to talking about Contessa’s kids. They didn’t show that part.”

She thinks editing is done in a way to protect Heavenly.

“Again, I don’t know who’s doing it but they’re trying to protect Heavenly for whatever reason. I’m telling it based off what really happened.”

According to Sweet Tea, alcohol was a factor.

“Heavenly started off with that and already she had been drinking.”

Sweet Tea also clapped back at Jackie in response to what she said on “Watch What Happens Live.”

“She said on ‘Watch What Happens Live,’ she said that I need to apologize for my existence. But girl, you invited me into this group. That was back in 2022, she invited me to be a part of this group.”

  1. Anyone else notice Jackie finally understands moms should be off limits now that it’s not Mariah’s mother being disrespected? I have such a strong dislike for this show now. This is Mean Girls, the middle aged and elderly edition.

    1. Regarding Jackie, as we say in the country, when you can’t say anything nice, “Bless her heart.” lol

  2. Get rid of Heavenly, you do heard nothing about Heavenly husband. Heavenly is in everyone marriage but her own, take the show OFF the air

  3. Sick of this bumpkin. She is a trouble maker always looking for someone to back her up. Go deliver to Greg what you got him to marry you for. These folk have known each other for year and she think she can break that up. Gurl gone somewhere.

  4. Who in the world would want a “ professional dentist” as their doctor with a filthy mouth and no respect for others. I’m sick of Heavenly. I stopped watching the show a year ago because of her and Quad. I don’t like either of them.

  5. I like Sweet Tea because she’s what a reality star is supposed to be, authentic. Somehow reality tv lost the plot. Everybody on M2M is fake now with the exception of Tea and Contessa. I remember what ALL the OGs used to really look like before they got work done and new wigs. So I’m not sure why they keep trying to clown Tea. Heavenly can do what she wants because production made it that way. So this isn’t a must watch show for me anymore.
