During the latest episode of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta,” the couple’s trip to Mexico gets very rocky. First, Karlie Redd is caught secretly recording her fiancé TLO by him. He attempts to leave and pleads with him to stay.
Next, Rasheeda and Yandy have a nasty argument when cameras stop rolling. Things escalate when Rasheeda claims Yandy isn’t a friend. Lastly, the trip may be coming to an abrupt end when Mexican Police pull their vans over after a day of activities.
Here are the highlights for episode 27.
Karlie convinces TLO to stay on the trip after he catches Karlie secretly recording him.
In this first highlight from LHHATL, Karlie and TLO are at the airport. Karlie’s fiancé caught her secretly recording him on her phone. As a result, headed to the airport to leave the couple’s trip. Karlie followed him to the airport and pleaded with TLO to stay. She tells TLO that she didn’t record him at that moment. However, Karlie admits to having cameras all over their home. This is due to the insecurities created from her past traumas from previous relationships.
She says she wants to record him because of his history and her trust issues. But she says she can’t lose him, and she does all she can to convince TLO to stay on the trip.
Fortunately, Karlie gets what she wants and TLO stays.

Later that evening, TLO and Karlie go out with Mendeecees and Yandy. At this point, Mendeecees and TLO are alone, and TLO opens up to Mendeecees about catching Karlie recording him. He caught Karlie recording when he looked at her phone in their room as he picked up an item. TLO reveals this isn’t the first time Karlie recorded him without his knowledge and left AirTags on his person and his cars.
Meanwhile, Karlie’s excited TLO stayed. When she and Yandy join Mendeecees and TLO, Karlie opened up about why she records him. Karlie tells TLO she’ll stop stopping around if TLO commits to stopping cheating on Karlie.

Zane rubs Ashley the wrong way, and Rasheeda and Yandy clash after filming.
In the following clip, Zane is with Bamby and RayFace. Zane apologizes to both of them regarding his actions. When the other couples join Ashley and Zane, Zane says she wishes Ashley acted more like Rasheeda. Ashley scoffs at this in front of Kirk and Rasheeda, which rubs Rasheeda the wrong way.

Karlie and TLO join the couple a little later, and Karlie begins her sex education class with them. The conversation gets graphic, but it stays light-hearted. But things get shady when Ashley and you join the group. All of the couples come together, and they have a good time in front of the cameras. When the filming stops, things get intense, specifically between Rasheeda and Yandy.
The cast confirms the two women had a shouting match, and they each give their account of what happened between Rasheeda and Yandy. This starts when someone brings up the tension between the women. Yandy expresses a desire for her and Rasheeda to be closer, and Rasheeda says she and Yandy aren’t friends. Rasheeda’s comments upset her, leading to a shouting match between the two ladies. According to Zane, Rasheeda yells out at Yandy and says Kirk is her only friend.

Vans carrying the cast get pulled over in Mexico.
The following day, production had the cast explain what happened when filming stopped. The cast also split up to do morning activities.
During yoga, Rasheeda explains to Karlie and Sierra that she was frustrated by Yandy. Rasheeda says she stays out of the drama involving Mendeecees, including reacting to the tea she receives from other women.

Lastly, you had Mendeecees and Yandy riding back to the hotel with Ashley, Kendra, Joc, and Zane. While on the way back, Yandy expresses how she felt about the argument with Rasheeda. Yandy is frustrated with Rasheeda for saying Kirk is her only friend. Yandy claims Rasheeda faked being her friend for over a decade.
As tense as this conversation was, it was stopped when local police stopped the group’s buses.
The episode ends with the buses being stopped by police and the cast concerned about their well-being while on the trip in Mexico.

Tlo hopefully Karlie has LEARNED her lesson, if not move on with out her. That’s strange that the police were pulling over the vehicles in another country. Anyway we’ll see what happens.
