Phaedra Parks’ return is not helping RHOA ratings…yet.

The latest season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is one of the most controversial yet. As we reported, Kenya Moore‘s exit was discussed quite a bit on social media. Some fans feel like Kenya got what she deserved. Other fans believe Kenya and Brit Eady‘s situation was mishandled. They didn’t understand why Kenya was the only one reprimanded for her actions. In return, some have decided to stop watching the show. Ratings have been on the decline but Andy Cohen said he wasn’t too worried because of Phaedra Parks‘ return. According to Andy, Phaedra shook things up with her arrival.

Phaedra’s return to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” was heavily promoted by Bravo as well. A commercial featuring Phaedra also played during the newer episodes. Interestingly enough, the numbers are in and Phaedra’s return did not produce a surge in ratings. The most recent episode brought in 464,000 viewers, making it a new series low for RHOA.

To no surprise, the numbers have some viewers reposting a comment Phaedra made about RHOA a few years ago when she was asked if she’d ever return.

Phaedra said, “No, I don’t wanna pick up a peach. If I wanted a peach, I would have a peach pie. I’ve made it very clear that’s not what I want to do. I will be yachting. Let them continue to sail away on the Titanic.”

Brit Eady was called out by the woman she hired to plan her onscreen event.

In related news, Brit has been getting called out left and right for her event which was featured in the episode. Fans and cast members alike couldn’t understand her decision-making. Brit planned for the housewives and their husbands to be the only guests seated and fed the whole evening. Other guests were only supposed to have standing room and cocktails.

Brit claimed her “event planner” was the one who screwed things up because she gave all guests menus and chairs when she was not supposed to.

Well, Bella, the “event planner” responded to Brit’s claims on Instagram Story.

She said, “As the event decorator, I fulfilled everything I was asked to do and more. However, some behind-the-scenes details weren’t shown.”

Bella added, “I want to be clear: I was not responsible for the food. Brittany asked me to design a menu based on her selections, and the restaurant was in charge of providing and serving it.”

Bella denied that her team was late to the event and alleged that budget constraints were why certain decisions were made by Brit.

“She chose to serve small bites due to budget constraints, which she confirmed in a message. I had no control over food quantity or service, as I’m not an event planner or caterer.”

She believes the main problem is Brit didn’t understand the difference between an event planner and an event decorator.

“Lastly, any claims that I overcharged or misled anyone are false. I wasn’t even fully compensated for my job and was still in dispute about my balance. There’s a clear difference between an event decorator and an event planner confusing the two unfairly shifts blame.”

  1. The long hiatus and firing NeNe & Kenya has killed RHOA. I even think they were silly to let Sheree go. All 3 have contributed more to RHOA than Porsha and Phaedra.

  2. They fired Kenya for what she did but brought back Phaedra who did much worse to Kandi so I knew this sh-t would flop. A lot of people don’t f-ck with Phaedra like that anymore and didn’t plan on watching because she was returning.

  3. I don’t care that they FIRED Kenya. She deserved to go. Now Phaedra coming back after her and Porshas team up against a former cast mate Bravo this is what you get. Continued low ratings AND possibly the show being CANCELED all together. BOOM!
