Ashley Darby opened up about not having a relationship with her father on RHOP.
Ashley Darby grabbed the attention of “Real Housewives of Potomac” fans over the weekend due to shady comments she made about Wendy Osefo‘s arrest. Wendy and her husband were arrested for insurance fraud. So Ashley got shady during one of her recent performances. Interestingly enough, fans are talking about a recent revelation she made on social media, too.
Ashley said, “So today is a bit of an interesting day for me. Last week, while I was in New York and I was actually coming home on the train, my mom informed me that my father had passed away. And if you saw, I believe it was Season 5 of the show, it was Season 5. I tried to meet my dad. I’ve never met him, never spoken a word to him. We had no conversation, and he closed the door in my face. Today was his funeral, and I contemplated going almost to have my own sense of closure.”
She added, “But I’ve been traveling so much and I really wanted to be with my own kids this weekend. My rationale was, why would I want to take away time from my own kids for someone who never made time for me?”
Ashley said she had held out hope that he would have a change of heart one day. Unfortunately, that day never came. She had to learn about him from his obituary instead.
“I found out that I had siblings, and all the things that I had no idea about my father, I learned about in his obituary. I learned he liked to garden. He taught himself how to play guitar, he was an avid fisherman…really, so many of the things that I also love to do. It said that in the obituary, his greatest accomplishment was being a dad to his two sons. That stung a little bit, but whatever. It’s interesting how you can mourn and have some kind of grieving…unique form of grieving for someone you have no relationship with, just blood relations with no emotional connection.”
It’s a reality that Ashley will never understand.
“I really don’t understand how any human being doesn’t want to love their children…can’t love a child. But it is what it is and life will certainly go on,” she said.

Ashley, Ashley poor Ashley please leave Stacey alone she doesn’t have to prove nothing to you or answers questions to you. Who the he’ll do you think you are screaming at her act like a fool. Go get a storyline and a guy who wear shoes to the White House. Or wherever y’all was going.
Ashley’s father not wanting anything to do with her is one of the reasons why she’s so evil now. She should get therapy so she can stop taking her pain out on other people.
