Dr. Heavenly Kimes said her son’s arrest resulted in her no longer being able to skate by on ‘Married to Medicine.’
“Married to Medicine” star Dr. Heavenly Kimes recently addressed her son’s arrest during an interview with Atlanta radio station V-103. Heavenly appeared at the station with her co-star, Quad Webb. Quad was asked about her motherhood journey with her boyfriend, King. But before they could touch on their personal stories, they were asked about the comments Phaedra Parks made on her way out.
Big Tigger asked how they felt about Phaedra referring to the “Married to Medicine” OGs as “demonic minions of hell and trash.”
Heavenly said, “I am running for Congress, so I love Phaedra. She’s a very decent and honorable woman that you need to listen to sometimes when she’s telling the truth, and at that point, I’m just going to give it to Quad because I don’t have anything good to say.”
Quad asked Heavenly, “Well, was she telling the truth?”
Heavenly answered, “No, she was not. I think Phaedra met her match over here, and she couldn’t handle it. That’s all that was. I’m just saying that just to say it. She could not compete. I think she’s used to being different, and when she got here, she couldn’t handle it. Too many bosses for her.”
When talking about her son’s arrest, Heavenly said she learned about the matter on X.
“I found out on Twitter that my son got arrested. We went through some things. It’s going to play out on TV. Now the police did the right thing. My baby came home safely. One of the leading reasons for unaliving a young black male is police violence, so I talk about that intricately, and that is one of the things I want to change outside of healthcare.”
Heavenly said she’s been skating by until now.
“This is probably one of the most difficult seasons I have ever had on ‘Married to Medicine.’ I’ve skated, I’ve been skating through it until I had some personal issues. And honestly, I wouldn’t have brought it up. A lot of things wouldn’t have come up if it hadn’t come out in the public. Yeah, you’ve got to be transparent now.”
I’m shocked she admitted she did the bare minimum and doesn’t want to show her life on the show she’s paid to do. Anyway, how was Phaedra out bossed by them when they couldn’t even raise funds for Jackie’s charity without her? That would be mean Phaedra was a bigger boss than all of them, including Jackie. Phaedra went back to the better job and they’re jealous. RHOA pays much better anyway.
Heavenly has only gotten away with not sharing much because she does the dirty work the producers tell her to do. She is one of the main reasons why the show fell off the way it did. People want the fame and money that comes with reality tv but they don’t want to be real.
