In the season premiere of “Love & Hip Hop: Miami,” Amara and Miami Tip face off over Instagram comments, and Trick Daddy makes a very controversial revelation. Here are the highlights for “The Last Laugh.”
Eliza and Amara La Negra hash things out, but Miami Tip is still on Amara’s bad side.
Amara meets up with Eliza despite them not being on the best of terms. Eliza wanted to meet with Amara to apologize for how things went down the last time they saw each other. Eliza wore a t-shirt that labeled Amara a husband stealer and said husbands needed to be kept away. She recognizes that it was out of order. But she was upset with Amara for hanging around Estelita when she knew they weren’t getting along at that time. It also didn’t help that Amara didn’t attend her business launch.
Amara is unmoved by Eliza’s side of things. But she softens up after Eliza reveals she recently suffered a miscarriage at 13 weeks due to a fall. Amara sympathizes with Eliza because she lost a baby as well.
The two women agree to move forward but Eliza will also have to hash things out with Shay per Amara’s conditions. Eliza reluctantly agrees to talk to Shay.
Amara says the person she has a real issue with currently is Miami Tip. Tip has been communicating with Allan’s wife on social media to be messy. Amara will confront Tip the next time they see each other.
Michael Blackson and his fiancée make their debut.
Comedian Michael Blackson and his fiancee Rada Darling are still getting adjusted to living in Miami. Rada is nearly 9 months pregnant, and Michael is happy to have made the move to Miami from LA. He’s managing some artists in Miami, so he felt the change of scenery made sense.
The couple isn’t in the best place because Michael is still sleeping with other women. In a green screen interview, Rada says she originally agreed to have an open relationship with Michael. But now she wants them to be monogamous so they can be a good example to their son.
Miami Tip has some words for Amara.
Bobby, Miami Tip, and Joy catch up. Joy says she is “homeless” because her offer didn’t go through on a townhome she really wanted, and the lease to her current apartment is up. Bobby reminds Joy that legally, she still has a home because she is not officially divorced from Trick Daddy.
Joy does not want to live with Trick. Sonyae is introduced. She is an artist who moved to Miami a few days ago. Bobby is hosting an upcoming event Sonyae was booked to perform. When he mentions that he will invite Amara so she can make peace with Tip, Tip says that seeing Amara will give her the opportunity to remind her of who she really is, since she has forgotten.
14 hours later, Joy packs up her things and drives over to her old home with Trick. He is not happy about the short notice and Joy bringing her cat with her. Despite this, he reluctantly agrees to let Joy return until she can secure a new place.
Claudia Jordan thinks Rada can do better than Michael.
Rada meets up with her girlfriends, one of whom happens to be Claudia Jordan. They are concerned for her due to Michael’s unfaithful ways. And they aren’t sure it’s a good idea for him to be in Miami, where temptation is aplenty. Regardless, Michael told Rada he isn’t sure he can let the other women go.
Rada is hurt that Michael won’t give up his side chicks. She says he told her he uses protection when he entertains other women. Claudia tells Rada that she is loving Michael to her own detriment and deserves better.
Trick Daddy makes a messy revelation.
Trick and his ex-girlfriend, Samantha, hang out. In a confessional, Trick says it seems like Samantha tries to shoot her shot every couple of years. But he’s not interested, and he’s stressed out enough as it is. It is eventually revealed that Samantha is actually Joy’s sister. In a green screen interview, Samantha says she dated Trick first. But Joy told her that he was a womanizer when she was sleeping with him behind Samantha’s back.
Trick’s excuse is that Samantha didn’t tell him who her sister was at that time. She points out that he should have stopped messing with Joy after he learned they were sisters.
Eliza and Shay aren’t able to move forward.
Some of the ladies attend the event Bobby is hosting. Amara’s plan to get Shay and Eliza to hash things out fails as soon as they see each other. Shay doesn’t want to apologize for coming for Eliza’s child during their feud, and Eliza thinks kids should be off limits. Annoyed with it all, Amara heads to the bar for a drink.
Shay thinks she and Eliza should talk another time.
Amara and Miami Tip go there.
It’s also a mess when Amara and Tip see each other. Amara tells Tip she needs to mind her business. And Tip says it was Allan’s wife who responded to her comment. She didn’t reach out to his wife.
Amara thinks it’s ridiculous that Tip has been so critical of her situation with Allan on social media when it’s not her business.
Tip pushes Amara’s button when she says her daughters will see how weak she is because she won’t move on from Allan. In response, Amara throws a drink in Tip’s face, and security steps in when she grabs a chair to do more.
Sonyae is annoyed to see this all play out while she is on stage performing.
Amara gets on stage to apologize and then starts arguing with Tip again.
Micheal visits one of his side chicks. She’s very pregnant and he doesn’t know how to break the news to Rada now that she wants him to be monogamous.
