Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Brandi Milton have tension over birthday parties.

Married to Medicine” newbie Brandi Milton recently called out Dr. Jackie Walters for asking if she had an enlarged thyroid at their first meeting. Jackie later apologized to Brandi on social media and explained she was concerned and not trying to be shady. Now Brandi will have tension with Dr. Contessa Metcalfe in the upcoming episode.

In a preview, the ladies are getting ready to eat dinner during a birthday party that Brandi’s husband planned for her.

Contessa says, “Happy Birthday, Brandi. This is an amazing dinner party.”

Dr. Simone Whitmore suggests they should eat before the food gets cold. Brandi agrees and encourages someone to say a prayer.

Contessa then says, “Can we pray to God, or do we have to pray to your husband for thanking him for the food?”

Dr. Heavenly Kimes begins to laugh. She and Contessa give each other a high five.

Brandi tells Contessa, “You in your feelings, but it’s okay.”

Contessa goes on to say, “We thanking these husbands a lot. These husbands getting a lot of credit for basic ****.”

In a green screen interview, Simone says Contessa is just jealous because she had to plan her own birthday party recently.

“Contessa’s retaliating because she’s feeling a way that Scott has never planned a birthday party for her.”

Contessa continues to be shady in Brandi’s face, “We in a strip mall. I mean…”

Brandi responds, “Here’s the thing. My husband paid for this. He paid for everybody to come and have a good night. My husband is amazing, so I give my husband props, and I’ll tell anybody. So, I’m sorry, Contessa, if that’s a problem for you or anyone else but…”

Contessa snaps, “I think y’all the ones with the problem.”

She adds, “Did you hear my husband complain one minute about how much money I was spending?”

Brandi answers, “No.”

Contessa continues, “The only thing my husband did not do is plan it. But I’ll be honest. If he would have did this as my first birthday party, I would have been underwhelmed! This is not a birthday party in my opinion.”

Brandi is taken aback.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Let’s bring this back!”

But Contessa doesn’t back down.

“It’s not a comparison. That was a party. This was not a party, this is a dinner,” she says.
