In the latest episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Miami,” Shay comes face-to-face with her longtime enemy, Larissa aka Bootz. Here are the highlights for “Bootz On The Ground.”

Sandra’s intervention in Shay’s love life pays off.

Shay spends some time with her mother, Sandra. Sandra wants Shay to go on a blind date with a young man named Walik. Walik works at an HBCU, and Sandra would like for Shay to date someone positive like him.

Shay laughs as Sandra urges her to be nice to Walik.

Shay meets Walik. He tells her that he’s the director of recruitment at the HBCU where he works. Walik used to have serious anger issues, which is why he ended up in prison. After that, he decided to turn his life around.

Walik admits he has seen Shay’s behavior play out on reality television over the years. But he doesn’t judge her because he’s still a work in progress, too.

Shay is impressed by Walik and wants to get to know him better.

Larissa has been wanting to square up with Shay for decades.

While Shay is dating and rethinking her anger, Joy meets up with Larissa, also known as Bootz. Larissa and Shay were on “Flavor of Love” together. They then went on to film “Charm School.” Their bond ended after Larissa overheard Shay complaining about Larissa being Fabulous’ love interest in a music video. Larissa says Shay was jealous that she had a main role in the music video, and Shay did not.

They have been on bad terms ever since. Larissa wants to pop up on Shay at her upcoming event for her Healthy Hand business. Joy is elated to help Larissa get her revenge. She is still under the impression that Shay was bad mouthing her, a lie Gaelle told her to stir the pot.

Michael and Rada struggle with moving forward.

Rada isn’t feeling Michael after he clapped back at her on Instagram. In response to her posting that she was raising their baby alone, Michael issued a warning. He wrote it isn’t wise “to bite the hand that feeds you.”

Michael returns from Ghana. He doesn’t think he impregnated the woman in Ghana. But he can’t tell Rada about this situation because it would upset her. She’s already struggling to process Nadia’s pregnancy.

They meet up to discuss their issues. Michael wants to go see Nadia’s baby and take a DNA test. If the baby is his, he wants to be in the child’s life. And that’s a tough pill to swallow for Rada.

Shay and Larissa nearly come to blows.

Joy shows up at Shay’s event with Larissa. Larissa immediately riles up Shay on sight. Security has to keep both women from scrapping. Walik tries his hardest to calm down Shay, and this annoys her. So she starts to snap at him as Sandra fails to calm her down.

Shay tells everyone she is done trying to change for the better. She will get her revenge.

  1. Again why is Joy so adamant about getting even with Shay when she won’t go toe to toe her self? Joy is a weak female who need to be removed from the show 💯. Michael Black can go too; I never cared for him either

  2. Shay has too much anger going on. She looks like a devil when she gets angry. If I was that guy I would get the hell on. Those are definitely Rec flags!!!

  3. Okay, let me be clear, I’m not a Shay fan but I got her back on this. She’s trying to change and for Joy to bring that girl to cause chaos at Shay’s pop-up…REALLY!!! I would have whooped both of their a**es. I hope Shay gets both of them back really good. And if Joy doesn’t want people talking about her, don’t have anything for them to talk about. Joy really doesn’t have a real storyline and that’s why her sister is there and she’s bothering Trick when she didn’t want to be bothered with him since she left him. So we’ll see how long she lasts on the show because she really doesn’t have any storyline to be there anymore. Trina is happy in her marriage, so the only thing she has to do is be a sh-tstarter
