Mary Cosby released a statement about her son’s passing.
“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Mary Cosby touched hearts when she decided to share that her son, Robert Jr., had been battling addiction. Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that Robert Jr. passed away.
TMZ broke the news earlier today. According to the site, Robert died in Utah on Monday. While the cause of death is unclear, police responded to a call about a possible drug overdose. When they arrived at the scene, a death investigation was initiated.
Mary released a statement on her Instagram account. She said, “Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”
Robert Jr. was just 23 years old.
