Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars Kelli Potter and Porsha Williams‘ feud has been a hot topic on social media. Interestingly, some people think Kelli has been antagonizing Porsha. This is the opinion that Candiace Dillard Bassett seems to hold. She discussed the recent episode of RHOA on her podcast and compared Kelli to Ashley Darby.

“She reminds me of someone, and I came to this conclusion just from watching this past Sunday’s episode. She’s sitting on the bus, and you see like this glimmer of like, ooh…she seems really comfortable, like she’s found her role, and she’s really comfortable in this space. And there was like this glimmer in her eye, and for a quick second, she reminded me of Ashley, Forehead,” Candiace said.

She added, “And I was like, wow, but you need to have one of those, and I think…correct me if I’m wrong because I haven’t been following as I should be, but I feel like Atlanta did not have that little imp of a person before.”

Candiace thinks “imps” are good for the show.

“You need an imp to kind of like throw the rocks and fuss, and then you gotta have some worthy adversaries that can dig and bop them on the head and hit them back.”

Kelli was asked how she is processing Candiace’s comments during an interview. She responded by calling Candiace a “simp.”

“I don’t process simps. She’s a simp. I don’t know you.”

She continued, “I don’t know you. I like Ashley, so I don’t know what Ashley has done prior to being on the show or what her role is. But I’m honestly not here to do a role. I’m honestly just here to be myself. So I’m not in role. I’m not in a character, and I’m just me, so…Next.”

In related news, Bravo released the midseason trailer for RHOA. In the video, things get worse between Porsha and Shamea Morton.
