Latisha Scott’s alleged comment to Destiny Payton is addressed in a recent interview.
Destiny Payton and Latisha Scott have been clashing during the latest season of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville.” In a recent episode, Destiny alleged that Latisha told her she would have to feud with her or divorce Marsau Scott to have a storyline. In response, Latisha accused Destiny of lying.
Interestingly, Destiny was asked about Latisha’s alleged statement during an interview with DJ Richie Skye.
Richie asked, “Can you describe the context?”
Destiny answered, “Yes. It was Jaylin’s birthday at Kimmi and Reece’s house, and I walked in, and she was just talking smack. And I was like, ‘We still beefing? We still beefing? Like what we doing?’ It was one of those moments. It was before the Taco Tuesday or Taco Tuesday and all that stuff. And she said it at that moment. We were all partying, having a good time. And so, maybe she had that bottle. I don’t know. But she don’t remember it was said.”
After Richie asked Destiny if it was possible for her and Latisha to get back to friendlier terms, she said:
“And to be fair, in that moment, I’m giving grace to someone I do still care about, it was a playful statement when she said it but to me, it became real because it became real. The direction of venom was at me all season and it’s like, is this really what you’re doing? And then we get to the end of the season, and here you are. It’s interesting having all these conversations about your relationship at the end of the season.”
