In the final part of the Season 17 reunion of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” some of the women are able to hash things out, while Porsha and Shamea’s friendship can’t be saved. Here are the highlights of “Reunion Part 3.”
Drew and K. Michelle talk it out.
Part 3 of the reunion starts with Andy questioning why K. Michelle thought that Porsha and Drew planned to air out an old rumor about her “lady parts” having a bad smell. She decided to ‘jump in front of it” after Porsha made a joke about oysters. However, Porsha and Drew didn’t even know about this rumor. They did not plot to bring it to the show.
Andy is able to get K. Michelle and Drew to hash out their issues since both agree that it wasn’t anything deep to begin with. They can move forward.
Kelli defends her friendship with Shamea.
Andy reads a fan’s question. This person wants to know if Kelli ever feels like a rebound bestie to Shamea since she is on the outs with Porsha. Kelli says she doesn’t feel like a rebound bestie because her bond with Shamea is strong.
Another fan asks why Kelli accepted Phaedra’s legal services if she thinks that “Frick and Frack are wack.” Kelli claims she and Phaedra built a friendship off camera, but she wants to clarify that she did pay Phaedra $10,000. The legal services she received were not free.
Phaedra says the billable hours totaled around $60,000. So, Kelli received a huge discount.
Kelli then goes on to say It wasn’t that much work for Phaedra to do because she paid her previous divorce lawyer $250,000. In response, Phaedra says, “We didn’t use any of your old work, Kelli.”
Porsha asks Kelli why she is discrediting the work Phaedra did.
Phaedra says it was disheartening to see Kelli say, “Frick and Frack are wack” because she’s done a lot to support Kelli.
Shamea’s surrogate had a miscarriage.
Andy asks Shamea where she is on giving her husband a son. Sadly, Shamea reveals that their surrogate suffered a miscarriage. And that was her last embryo.
After she breaks down in tears, K. Michelle and the other women console her.
Angela sets the record straight.
Angela discusses her relationship with her daughter Ahmauri. They are on good terms, and contrary to public opinion, she has always supported Ahmauri’s sexuality. Ahmauri came out to Angela when she was 12. Angela gifted Ahmauri with coming-out cookies.
Angela has known Ahmauri’s wife since she was a child, and she used to live with them. The issue is that the wife’s family isn’t accepting of Ahmauri.
Pinky asks Angela if she has receipts of her having a wife in the basement. Angela asks her where she heard that Charles doesn’t like her.
Both women acknowledge they don’t have receipts to back up their claims.
Angela and Shamea address their feud.
Shamea is asked about her thoughts regarding her tension with the other women in the group. She accuses them of becoming Porsha’s lapdogs and fighting her battle. They think this is ridiculous.
Regardless, Shamea thinks she is constantly ganged up on. She says she apologized to Drew, but they still have tension. Drew says that Shamea was shady during her apology video. And Shamea needs to make genuine apologies and truly move forward.
Shamea argues with Angela over the cease and desist letter her lawyer sent out in response to Angela’s accusations regarding George. Angela says the point was to shut her up, so now she can’t say anything more.
The drama that took place in Scotland was the point of no return for Porsha and Shamea.
Shamea isn’t sure where she stands with the group, considering she has friction with multiple women. When she says she has never shared anything Porsha told her with Kelli, Porsha says this isn’t true. A mutual friend told her that Shamea was talking about Porsha to someone who could have been Kelli when they hung out.
Shamea denies telling Kelli any of Porsha’s secrets. Drew, Porsha, and Angela say Shamea isn’t telling the truth.
Andy turns his focus to Porsha and Shamea’s broken friendship. Porsha refuses to discuss anything in reference to her mother or daughter. Regardless, everyone can agree that what happened in Scotland was the point of no return.
Porsha tells Andy that Shamea really crossed the line by bringing up her mother and daughter. And Shamea doing those things showed her that Shamea was never a real friend, so she can never rekindle the friendship.
The cast wraps up Season 17.
As they reflect on the season, Andy asks each woman what they learned. Drew says she learned how important it is to forgive each other and take accountability. Pinky has learned how to be around very powerful women.
Angela has learned not to chase things and just allow the chips to fall in place. Shamea thinks they can understand each other better if they “lead with loving hearts.” Cynthia jokes that she will make sure the rooms are clean ahead of the next girls trip, as well as how to meet people where they are. And she hopes that she and Shamea are still in a good space after the reunion.
Shamea gets up to hug Cynthia, Angela, Drew, and Phaedra.
Kelli says her divorce taught her how to be resilient. K. Michelle learned not to live tweet and expect the worst.
Porsha tells Andy she had a lot of fun throughout the season and she thinks this cast is the perfect fit. Andy says the reunion was the most fun since earlier seasons.
