Sometimes it gets to a point where our prayers become more specific. We begin to ask God to bring certain people back into our lives, bless us with fame and fortune, etc. There are some things that we want so bad to happen for us that we keep praying for them over and over again.
So we finally get our way. That “special” someone is back in your life but he or she is causing you so much heartache and drama. You become filthy rich but you are miserable all the time and have no true friends surrounding you anymore. Remember, this is what you asked for. We pray so hard about these things but never really think about the potential outcome.
We never stop to think about the fact that what we want is not always good for us. God ultimately knows what’s best for us. He has a plan for each and every person. He knows our heart’s desires but most of all God knows that our needs are far more important.
Instead of asking God to bring a specific man or woman back into your life, pray for a person who will love you unconditionally. Pray for overall success and not just millions of dollars in your pocket.
Whatever it is, just always remember to be careful what you pray for because you may get exactly that.
